Garlic is ok. They’d need to have a whole bulb or more to be toxic. I give my dogs garlic capsules.

Hello, i'm new to dog ownership and will get a GD puppy from a breeder. i've been looking at many online videos, etc. and it's information overload. can you say what would be step 1 for me BEFORE bringing home a GD puppy? thanks

I just got mine and for me personally was getting her a comfy bed and kennel as well as food bowls and a good leash and collar. We messed up and the first day or two we couldn’t find a kennel or bed and she laid in bed with us to sleep and now she doesn’t like to not sleep with us😅

Some peanut butter has the sweetner sorbitol in it. Very poisonous for dogs
