My husband recently passed away from ling cancer which then moved to his brain. The oncology staff was amazing and when I brought him home the hospice nurses were angels on earth. No request was too big or too small! Whatever I needed for his comfort they provided! I could never do either job. I’m a nurse myself but that just isn’t something I could handle!

I have incurable cancer and I appreciate the compassion and dedication that is evident in every person that I come in contact with in the Hematology /Oncology department when I go in for my infusions. My wife is Stage 4 cancer and we often have infusions at the same time. It makes me feel good seeing how well my wife is being treated by the Hematology/Oncology staff. I sit in the chair and observe other patients and the Oncology Nurses are truly “Life Savers” by instilling Hope to people who have sometimes lost hope.

It seems many of my family members have had cancer including me. I just fought off cancer in 2019. Its a very scary thing to go through when you don't know. I am Christian and I know where I will go in the next life, but still you worry because of how loved ones will feel if you pass away and you will miss them. many things.
