Back straps are not made to constantly take on and off... they are made to set to your hand and to leave it on.... by constantly removing them you will wear the attachment points and it can start to fall off....easier just to leave the takedown device with your ammo......

Have had this gun for years. If you loose the key, you can still take it apart with a long nose hemostat!

Instead of foam that has to be cut, why not just wrap the key with rubber bands?

I've had rubber bands go gooey (in a dark, air conditioned room) leaving a mess on everything so I tend to avoid them now.

Too much trouble for a pistol so ugly, so bulky for its caliber and so impractical. I showed it to my granddaughter's Barbie to buy it and my granddaughter and the doll no longer speak to me.
