with the paddles attached to the controller what is the correct sequence to slide cancel with the left paddle as O and the right paddle X? which paddle do you click first to run faster? or is there a better paddle assignment that works better to slide cancel that's might be more comfortable ? Thanks I have the paddles just trying to figure out what is the best setup and how to do it.

I use the opposite, The right paddle as O and left as X

Tbh I have never encountered that! Sometimes if the headphone jack isn't inserted properly then you might get static noise. Once it's inserted properly then it works perfectly.
