Chat hated the Red Card joker but if you get it in the beginning of the run it can often carry the run for you. It's not the best joker but it can squeeze out a win if you play your cards riggr.

You have to reroll shop quite often to get a strong combo of jokers, $3 for +3 unconditional mult (if you dont like whatever else is in the pack) is really good considering that the alternative is to basically burn money every turn anyway for even a chance to get a decent joker. you can think of it as, "adds an option to every pack you open to get +3 mult on every subsequent hand you play"

I originally posted this comment while Joesph Anderson was currently streaming “The Game Awards” which he did immediately after playing “Balatro.” After The Game Awards concluded, he returned to playing Balatro and with this video being uploaded before The Game Awards ended, my comment was intended to be a humorous interpretation that Avarisi intentionally left out the second half of Joseph Anderson playing Balatro. Though now it’s impossible to tell that I had made the comment at the time that I had made it, thus rendering the joke much less funny than I had initially intended for it to be.
