Absolutely loving this weekly update show mate, brilliant idea. Also it’s great to see how well you’re doing and running things really smoothly, which speaks volumes for your determination and commitment to the job and to your customers. Being your own boss and running a job certainly isn’t easy and it has its moments but the satisfaction from overcoming challenges and making the customer happy is huge.

Well done on recovering from that set back Izzy and Drew. Great to see that there are still people who will go out of their way to help others. Everybody seems to be me,me me these days. So respect due to Craig 👍 Also, Izzy you may not be aware but you are the perfect example of a Stoic. To paraphrase Marcus Aurelius 'What stands in the way, becomes the way'. If you google that you'll see how apt that full quote is to your attitude and determination.

New subscriber love this content have questions about repairs on 100 year old house with similar construction techniques. Q1. Wooden beams eaten by termites on first floor original beams were part of brick walls double brick construction. Center iron load bearing support with angle iron bolted to pickup ends of joist’s 2” overhang. If you are replacing the beams do you open the brick wall through to the outside insert the replacement joist set it on the steel and then replace the outside bricks? Or is there another method for doing the same job?

Hi, when you put bricks and the length of first layer is fx. 5 meters, but does not fit length of X amount of bricks how do you proceed and how do you cut it to fit??? I mean you cant do half stone then whole stone shifts right? How do you make it all come together, when length of foundation does not match the length of the bricks? Love your channel... Thanks.

Unlucky, but like you said, it could have been worse. I live in a an area where the weather can be extreme, ive seen a few blow downs but thats with far stronger winds, its very common to have 35 km/ph plus here during winter it frequently exceeds 100 km/ph so lifts have to be well braced especially in winter months.
