@@Way_Of_The_Light Sadly its a well known fact in Korea. The majority of guys at the clubs here are not looking for a long term relationship there. Especially Hongdae guys. Any time I even mention Hongdae clubs to anyone (Korean or foreigner), they always will say to stay away from them. They usually are only ever looking for a one night stand. As for other countries, I can’t say. I’ve never been clubbing anywhere else before.

My situation was worse lol. I told my self I’d never marry an Asian, and I ended up marrying someone from Taiwan. Taught my racist ass to never be racist again, lol. On a serious note tho: I’m extremely grateful for my husband. I told him my views when we were friends, on how I didn’t want to date or marry an Asian, and he was visibly upset at first (for good reason), It was actually quite discriminatory; but he decided to stay friends with me and show me why ethnic background wasn’t a reason to put value on someone. Long story short I ended up not only falling in love with his culture, but with him as well. We eventually began dating and now we’re married, we are planning to have children and I not only want them to be fully involved in their fathers culture, but I’m also exited for them to be better than I ever was. If I could go back in time and understand something it would be to never EVER judge a book by its cover. The stories that book tells not only will teach you things, but truly change your life completely for the better. This is definitely a lesson I’m passing on to my kids.
