To help re-use a stripped hole in your wood cabinet, stick a toothpick in it and snap it. That will give the screw a new surface to bite into. Hope this helps prolong the life of the cabinet door.

Wow Liz you are really picking up the Spanish language, you’re a bilingual grin goes. Hahahahaha Dennis have you tried a little wood glue with toothpicks for the hole repair. I know it has worked for me with a door frame, I dipped the toothpicks in the glue then shove them tightly in the hole then drive the screw back in. Oh man next weeks video looks so cool, can’t wait to see. ❤️🇨🇦❤️ Cheers!!!

What is it with dogs on roofs in Mexico? I just love that! I totally get the shopping / eating like a local - we spent about 4 years on our boat on The Pacific Coast. I miss shopping like that - it was an adventure rather than a chore. Lovely video!

MrKora74 that’s great to know! We saw that a lot in near San Blas and near the small Mexcalitan. Also in larger places such as Mazatlan and Zihuatanejo. We live on a boat, so our dog doesn’t even have a yard - need stairs and a roof!

Dennis.............spf those feet you have tan lines...........Would it be safe to say that Liz is Dennis's interpreter?? ..........also...I think that you two have grown/progressed in your video presentations to the point that you are now as relaxed and authentic as one could be in front of the camera.....especially appreciate the pace of your videos.... one or two ways to fix your hinge problem would be to tape off around the screw holes and fill them with bondo...sand...drill bit half the size of the screw.... hand screw in, not power drill ..... and reattach hinge.... or you can use tooth picks and cut to length and place in hole then reattach the hinge... yes. your hinge holes are vertical ... a spot of wood glue to hold in place..... you do not have to wait for the glue to set up.. .......you got my drill....wait.. I found mine in the garage.........well done and be well too..........

I like my flip flop tan lines they are my validation of success! Yes she speaks for me most of the time. 😬 Thank you so much for saying that it's so nice to hear and helps us stay motivated to keep creating! Thanks for the repair tips. I'll be replacing these hinge mechanisms when we get back to Florida. They're super complex and designed with the idea that they will hold the door open for you. They don't. Now that they're old they just bind when you close the door and eventually the stress from having to force it shut pulls the screws out. I gt be without my craftsmen drill. It's bailed is out of a lot of jams! - Dennis ✌️

Do they have any places to talk to someone in regards to the environmental state of Bacalar? I hear tourism is killing it. Not economically, but that it's lost a lot of its color and what made it such a magical place due to deforestation.
