Ghee is clarified butter, to prepare ghee you have to boil the butter until all the water content in gets evaporated. You will get a good aroma when it's done. Initially you get a bad smell when you boil butter.

Ghee is the product that comes after heating up the butter by adding some ingredients like salt, paan leaf and red dried Chilli its done to make the oil/fat get even more pure and long lasting dan butter

You can make ghee at home. Just melt white, unsalted butter at a high temperature and allow it to slow cook. The butter will change colour to a bright gold as it cooks. There will be bubbles that form on top - this will evaporate. Once the bubbles evaporate, you'll find a sort of sediment at the bottom. Allow this to happen. Shut off the flame, cool and strain it out so that you get the clear ghee liquid and the sediment (which is milk solids) stays at the bottom of the pan.

No that's not ghee .Ghee is Indian clarified butter raw sour Milk is churned into butter. The butter is heated in open pan water evaporates to produce ghee.
