Had mine since new in 2015, getting a new timing belt in it this spring. just hit 60,000 miles. Here's to another 10 years in this thing. Smiles per gallon are still high. It's a v6 6mt too.

Got a 15 4cyl auto Honda accord. Bought at 29k and now at 145k. From 18-24. I have no plans of selling. It really is perfect. I sell cars, I’ve been in everything new and used. And I still love this car. I am keeping it until it is absolutely unrepairable. This will go down as the best generation of Honda accords.

The manual V-6 coupes did not have VCM. That alone justifies this car!

Nice video! I have identical car just a 2014. Very low miles on the odometer so I will probably have it for a long time. I was a bit apprehensive when I bought it because selling a manual transmission car is not easy especially in a remote area like where I live. Must admit I didn't fall immediately in love with it as it suffered in comparison to my Lexus I had before it, but it's growing on me! I notice your lower screen is off on the infotainment. Is that on purpose? I may turn mine off if so LOL.

Looked at mine today and my mpg was 15.8 …. But i do have a cat code p3040 bank 2 so must be that i hope .

I love mine. Unfortunately the automatic transmission that came with these aren’t the best

These too. I it’s limited to the older generation as far as bad transmissions

I have a 6-6 and test drove an auto. I drove mine to the dealership so I could drive both back to back. While they were different animals in character (6-6 with mods is of course more raw), I left the test drive wishing I could own both, with the auto being the better daily. I could be happy with either.

Does that accord have the feature where it disables half the cylinders?

It does have a cylinder deactivation system I commented before saying you can turn it off but upon further research, you have to buy a VCM delete system to turn it off, the reason it is always off for me is that I always have a check engine light on for my catless downpipe + exhaust which disables the system

The ones with the automatic transmission do have VCM. This one's a manual transmission so it doesn't have it.

AT does but MT (6 speed) like my car do not have this feature.

@@jamesrock3443 they’re two very different cars. Hard to compare. The fiesta was quick and tossable and lightweight, but here comes a speed bump, pucker up and get ready. The accord is heavier, but much more comfortable, and you can just sort of drive it without all the things that go with driving a race car, but it still has enough edge and personality to have fun.
