The 7th Gen Honda Accord V6 Hybrid is a Forgotten Relic of the 2000's

The 2006 Accord v6 hybrid was my first car and I'm still driving it more than a decade later lol. It's such a peculiar regular car. It's a left-hand drive manufactured in Japan, it's a hybrid that trades like 10hp for negligible gains in fuel economy, and it complies with turn signal regulations in Southeast Asia.

I got a 2005 hybrid with Navi Same exact interior I gotta say the handling typically allows me to out pace most on freeway especially in the streets where the hybrid boost really comes in in the 0-40 range

I just bought my daughter her first car (in September 2023) and it is a 2007 Hybrid in white that has 37,000 miles and one owner (per CarFax) It was listed at $8800 but I got him down to $7300. Needed 4 new tires but it recently had the Hybrid battery replaced in January ‘22. Car is way nicer than I imagined. Very thrilled with it.

Woot woot! V6 Hybrid I test drove two of them but wound up getting a 2000 Acura RL and a 1995 Lexus LS400 instead for even less then I woulda paid for the one hybrid. My 6 speed TL sees the beans everyday with a 0-60 of about 5.3 seconds 232k miles. Installing type s tail lights on my TL today. Watched the video twice I really would love to have a manual V6 version of that with fog lights in the front.. kinda hard to find fully loaded EX-L with fog lights, V6 with a manual transmission the last one I saw like that for sale was 6 hours from me at a Lexus dealer a 2007 with 90k miles for 10k if I had the money for it at the time I would've bought it I was even considering selling 2-3 of my cars at the time to get it but I'll find another one like it someday

On my dad's 05 Accord hybrid you could open the trunk with a key in the right side brake light built into the trunk. Sadly, I replaced that light after it got cracked and now the key doesn't open it. We also don't have the rear view mirror turn signals so that might have been something that was added in 2007 or maybe it is the higher trim because we also don't have navigation, just an XM radio. I’m interested to know your thoughts/impressions of the 9th Gen Accord V6 if you can find one to review. I went from a 6th Gen V6 to a 7th Gen K24 manual to a 9th Gen V6 Sedan and my 9th Gen V6 feels surprisingly similar to “old school Honda.”

32mpg on the highway? When I had mine, I got like 44mpg on the last road trip I ever took it on. I did do a cai and custom exhaust to the catback(no catalytic converters and a jpipe). Every once in a while I did get a cel for the cats, but it wasn't very common because i had those stupid catalytic simulator plugs.

I think you meant the TSX, the TSX mirrors look the same however they’re not fully color matched and all mount onto the car different. I have hybrid mirrors on my 2004 Accord and had to obviously wire them up however the TSX mirrors you need to drill new holes and stuff to get the to bolt on.

2003-05 V6 got 240hp but 06-07 got 244hp from the dual exhaust.

03-05 v6 came with dual exhaust. The extra hp came from a ecu remap
