I went to dltr yesterday and got the olive 5s I tried on the 1st shoe and asked to get a new pair due to not knowing how many other people also tried it on so they gave me another pair didn’t bother to check was walking out the store but before I walked out the mall I checked them out there was a defect on the laces I went back and told the manager about it they replaced the shoe with a different pair but everything was in person so not sure how I would say bout that experience but luckily I got mines resolved within 10 minutes

I feel ya on this, I bought a shoe from them online and it’s a major pain the a** to ship them back plus the policy to ship them back sounds sketchy as hell to me.

Worst experience at any store ever for me was DTLR. Rude, ghetto, terrible customer service, combative employee even when very politely addressed. Could never return my shoes, even when going through corporate and emails, phone calls. Manager saw me walk in the store and had the look like she smelled something bad immediately (I wear hijab). Never again, DTLR.

I learned the hard way about 10 years ago I bought some shoes for my son walked out the store realized I got the wrong size went back to swap them out for his size they didn’t have them. I was like cool I’ll just do a refund NO buddy no refund only store credit. Haven’t bought anything from them since then. End of story

Should have never let you leave …it’s policy …but policy should have been stated @ check out the verbiage should have been “ credit is the top option if your not sure about item to get your money back…bottom is debit “ sign should have been posted @ check out that explains policy&should have gave you her DMs #, if a customer makes a fuss I always do one time courtesy & further explain policy to customer, receipt could have been reprinted by looking at trans # from original receipt, really should have not been a problem…& all the back& forth, most stores are ran by black ppl, but other races own it,I hope you return soon
