Great Content (as usual)! :) What do you think of cards like FoV or Endurance in the Sideboard with a fairly low green count in the deck?

I'm not sure that Endurance is optimal in the current meta, but if you're sideboarding a copy of FoV in, it's usually accompanied by a few green cards, like Pernicious Deed. Also, unless you're playing more copies of Veil, it might be harder to find effective green cards for the match-ups that Endurance is good in.

If I was looking for a ninth threat main deck. Maybe Instead of Thoughtseize for exemple. Would you suggest Uro, Grist, Brazen Borrower, Leovold, Gurmag Angler, Truename or maybe something else? Sometimes hard to close, especially when Murktide gets surgicalled. Thx for everything! ❤

Shocks will work better than basics.

Unhelpful, but if you're looking to move away from cEDH and into Legacy, you're better off selling the cEDH pile to pay for the Duals. Fetches have a MUCH higher opportunity cost in Legacy, where a single shock can be why you lose.

Why on earth you spoil your own videos? There is no reason to watch the video anymore if I already know you are going to win all your matches. And what's more, it also spoils other videos where there is no "undefeated" tag on it, since then people know that you are going to lose at least one of the matches, so the dream of the trophy is dead. I would be much more interested to watch this video, and any other videos of yours, if I don't know how it's going to go. So please, in the future put the deck name to the title, and/or that you might continue playing a deck that you trophied with, but not how this run will end up.

The 1000s of decisions I made and carefully described my reasoning for that resulted in going undefeated aren’t a reason to watch? Only the outcome matters? Honestly that take is deeply insulting to the work I put in making my commentary. Should I record in complete silence so you can watch a random Magic game play out and see who wins while learning nothing? I regularly have people thank me for commentary so detailed that they don't have to watch the video, they can just run audio in their headphones and know what's going on. Never had anyone wish I didn't speak and just let the game play out. People who are here for strategic content prefer undefeated videos. They want to see an expert in his element. People who have never clicked into the channel before prefer undefeated videos, winning over new viewers, which grows the channel, which benefits everyone who likes watching my videos in the long term, because if this stops making sense for me to put this work in I will stop doing it. I understand there are a small number of people who the spoilers bother, and I’ve taken steps to create ambiguity where I can and do the best of both. I have posted 5-0s that aren’t spoiled and I’ve put trophies in the thumbnail of videos that didn’t 5-0. My Ichormoon Gauntlet Trophy Challenge series from earlier this year had a bunch of angry comments from people who expected a trophy when they clicked in and were disappointed to see losses. Are you watching every day and internalizing those efforts to give me the benefit of the doubt for folks like yourself or are you just mad about today? I’ve made a long post about this on the community page if you care to read it. That’s “why on earth” I “spoil” my videos.

Why is a land different than any other card? You build the main deck you want to play then have 15 sideboard slots to improve expected matchups.

This always confused me as well. I dont really understand the calculus of the opportunity cost. If we're bringing in a basic against, say, blood moon effects, wouldn't we be better off having that sideboard slot as a hydroblast or something more versatile?

​@@Swoodivarius it's a contextual game, some decks don't want hydroblast, some bloodmoon/wasteland matchups hydroblast don't help as much/at all, this is true of all cards

​@@SwoodivariusBasics come in against a lot more than blood moon. Try playing a dual heavy manabase against lands You'll get annihilated. Many control decks have an awful matchup versus Sphere lands, and basics are a really good way to hedge against that. And as far as maindecking goes? You almost never WANT basic swamp. It doesn't cast cantrips, the only thing it casts is removal. Sometimes you like that. Usually you just don't.

I specifically wanted to draw the card I put on top off of beans which triggers when I cast Murktide. Having a relevant spell is more important than my 8/8 being a 9/9 with opp at 12.
