Hi Grandpa and Grandma glad to see you today, it's been a frustrating week. As you know mom has dementia and altzheimers (sp) and I'm assuming she has going into the anger faze of the disease. She has been so angry lately and taking it out on me and my sister. She doesn't know who my sister and I are and she hallucinates all the time. It's time for her dr to try another medicine. Please pray for me and my family. We would appreciate the support thank you

Praying 🙏....I'm so sorry about the Alzheimer's diagnosis. My great grandmother, grandmother and mom all had it. Plus I used to care for Alzheimer's/ dementia patients. Its truly the long goodbye and its so difficult to be the caretaker. My advice is to get respite care when you can and enjoy a couple hours away. Also, don't try to orientate them into today's reality. You go into their reality even if there is cows on the neighbors roof. Play music from their era, it really does calm them. Also old TV shows they used to enjoy works. Some like to have a stuffy or babydoll. Or start dancing and being silly, try to get them to laugh. I used to play my musical instruments with songs that they knew or kicking a Styrofoam ball. Its a very difficult time during all stages. Just remember to always treat them with love and respect

Loved seeing the deer with the chickens. Best thing you can do is to stand up for yourselves and ask questions to the doctors. I learned that years ago talking to VA doctors about my husband’s health. Don’t leave until you get an answer. I’ll be praying for y’all this week. Having no answers drives me batty too. I love working with physician assistants. They take time to listen to you. They explain things clearly. And sometimes they pick up on things the doctors don't. Also doctors say you will feel great and be a new person. Nurses have said no, it takes a full year to recover from a surgery

You have to watch the hair in the dogs’ ears. Dog ears are long tubes that collect hair, dirt, and sometimes little creatures. We have had several Goldens. It was not uncommon for them to get ear infections. The warm, moist environment of that deep ear makes for perfect breeding grounds for bacteria. We have used some hydrogen peroxide and a facial wipe to resolve and wipe out the ear canals. They can get pretty icky and smelly. If that doesn’t work, you might have to visit the Veterinary Clinic. Good luck.

Probably just need to close he garage at night. The wild animals aren't going to stop now that they know there is food and shelter. Wonder if you just put a couple of those heated houses that Kyle and Shannon have on a high shelf on the back porch. The cats can come inside the garage to eat during the day. If they stay out at night, they have a warm, elevated house at night.

I have to tell you we built a new home in Florida over 20 years ago. The house was finished early so I moved into it alone. My husband told me I could not hang anything on the wall over 2 pounds. I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to see deer in your backyard. The chickens didn't seem to be bothered at all by the deer. All your goats have different personalities. They are so much fun to watch. LeeAnn, you look so pretty in pink. Life is life and somedays just aren't the best. The good thing is tomorrow is a new day. I've always found that the PAs I see are much more attentive and informative than the MDs. I think some Dr's don't have the most patience or are as open to questions. The PAs spend more time, really listen, and don't immediately jump to conclusions about any concerns I have. I hope you have the same experience on Wed and get the answers you need.

Did you have them check the carotid arteries. My friend had the right one cleaned out about 6 months ago and just this past week she had the left one done. She will have scars on the side of her neck. But her primary always said all looks good. She finally asked and insisted that the check. Well 75 and 90 percent blockages. The heart specialist was so angry. Pray for recovery from this second surgery.

I buy 2 1/2 gallons and freeze one and that has worked great! It does take about 24 hours to thaw out, but I take it out for the day, then wrap a paper towel around it to absorb the moisture on outside abnd put it in the refrigerator. Prayers to find answers at the doctor when you go.

Please pray for my family. We lost my dad jan 29th at 64 on my moms birthday. He put on one heck of a fight since he had his extremely severe stroke on jan 18th. Rest in peace daddy Bobby (Robert) Martin. I guess your son Michael needed you a little more in heaven then we needed you. Great job on the signs LeeAnne . Now if they just continue to work. Might want to check with Vet, what to use to clean LGD's ears.. it's normal for long eared dogs to collect ear wax. I had to use baby wipes to clean my Labs every two. Blessings 🙏🫶❤️🫶🙏

Grandpa, safety glasses are our friends. I worked at a car company. Before i got my 90 days in, i had an incident happen. If i didn't have my safety glasses on, i would have lost an eye. I always wore my safety glasses. 😊

I put my milk in Mason jars it keeps mine fresher longer because it keeps it colder and no air can get to it. I also keep my fruit and veggies in mason jars to extend their lives also.

LeaAnn, Ralph, you both look very tired. Those deers look so pretty just wandering out there. Never thought I would see a deer run from a chicken. Did you check the dogs for ear mites? Shaking the head/ears usually is a sign of ear mites. What do you t think of your other son branching out with steers? That farm has gotten so big in such a short time. Ralph, just watching you rock is actually making me tired. I had knee replacement with some complications. When I came home and looked in the mirror and said " Man do you look old " I can tell you my knee is not 100% and I don't think it will. I also hate when you get the run around. Sometimes I think they think your an idiot. You know your body better than anyone. They may play together during the day and the sibling just is not certain of you. It's good sign she came into the garage.
