Murphys liquid Oil Soap also works wonders at cleaning dried acrylic paint from brushes, brayers and scrapers. Submerge the item in a jar filled with it and leave overnight. Then rinse with water in a bucket without sending any debris down the drain. Strain and out the debris in the trash.

I use 1 cup of boiling water, 2 squirts of Dawn dish soap, and 1/2 cup of vinegar in a flat dish, and let it soak over night. Comb and rinse in hot water. ❤W😊orks great! Another run through the dishwasher afterwards, will get off any left order residue.

I used hand sanitizer to get out ink stains on clothes. I had accidentally washed an ink pen with the laundry and ink got on everything. The alcohol in the sanitizer removed the stains.

It’s the alcohol that does the cleaning. Simply submerging the brush into rubbing alcohol is the most cost effective way to clean it. However, professional waterbased paint artists know that the very best brush cleaner is an inexpensive vodka. Nothing works better! 🥰
