This has just become my favorite Rosalind Russell movie... a fun ride from the start ... and that ending with her jumping on a the truck with fresh recruits ... yeah!

Very good comedy! Rosalind Russell a marvelous actress! Could do drama as well as comedy equally well! And Marie Wilson and Paul Douglas were fine as well! Loved this about women serving in the Army during the waning days of the Korean War!

I'm amazed as to how similar Rosalind plays this character to Auntie Mame: the voice, the accent, the inflection, the attitude

Thank you for the upload. I just adore Rosalind Russell. Her companion Marie Wilson was also good here. Their combination from "My Sister Eileen" was refreshing even here.

Possibly the worst movie that I will see today but the day is still not over From the stupid title, Never Wave At A WAC( Jerry Lewis strikes backa at The Three Stooges} to the end showind a WAC that has just removed from the Army in "class A" serving "tea" at a party , "Roselind" is not a favorite and has out done herself in this turkey P Douglas seems scrip bound by both the lead and what the "writers" have done to him M Wilson was a bright spot as was the NCO WAC For P Doulas fans there is an OLD Tugboat skipper and Douglas in ??Erin??? still ,up on the NET it is worth the time in my view

i find this move a bit offensive, despite the fact it was made in the 40's , only by it sheer ignorance of how it was written. some lame brain sat down at a typewriter and punched this out in about an hour and a half, without any form of research whatsoever, and I'm pretty it was done by a grade 9'er. THIS MOVIE SUCKS !!!!!!
@ProspectorsGhost3 жыл бұрын
If you can't sit back and just simply enjoy a good movie, then it's quite obvious your whole life has been a bit offensive in itself, and now you want to pass your own dissatisfaction of life along to others because you think this movie is offensive to you yourself. You are as bad as all the other Socialist Brain-Washed Liberal Democrats who now want to Cancel everything Historical in culture just because it offends you, yourself. Grow up and get over it.

@@ProspectorsGhost i see where you are coming from and I kinda cringed as I wrote it, I used to be a projectionist many moons ago, so I have seen tons of movies in my life, some really good ones and a few stinkers, this one fall in that pile, despite when it was made outside of all those flash gordon and other serial type kid movies made in the 30's throughout the 40's, they all follow the same script more or less. i try to avoid them when I can, occasionally I find an amusing one that I do like . I AM BY NO MEANS PART OF THE CANCEL CULTURE YOU ARE REFERRING TOO, BY NO MEANS WHATSOEVER, I AM STILL PART OF THE OLD CULTURE THAT SAYS TREAT OLDER PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND MIND YOUR P's AND Q's, I do know my English literature well enough to know when something is garbage or not, and I can tell the difference between bad acting and bad directing, and when a movie is on a budget or not, which this one clearly is. you may now say " sorry doctor" hahahahahahaha
