Pakistan cannot be ignored in t-20s because this the format any team can beat anyone and Pakistan does well in t20 cups 8 t20 world cups 1 trophy (2009) 2 runners up (2007,2022) 3 Semis (2010,2012,2021) 2 group stage exits (2014,2016) qualifying in 6 out of 8 tournaments is pretty good record . so basically 75% success rate

On Paper Pakistan is a better team than 2021 and 2022 team. It’s just about getting in form and playing the right playing 11. Shadab is a liability now, needs to be dropped and play a fourth genuine bowler.

in all honesty Pakistan were good in parts of yesterdays game, babar and fakhar got them to 55/2 after before the collapse, its a matter of figuring out the middle overs and they can be solid

Naseem and Shaheen are the biggest variables of this lineup not only because they're both coming off of recent injuries but also because around 50% of how this team does will probably depend on these two.

PSL form was not as good for them compared to Usman Khan and others' form, whereas Amir, Wasim, Azam Khan, Saim Ayub have all played CPL and starred in the West Indies for last 3-4 years. I think either Saim or Wasim won player of the tournament.

Aamir Jamal has an economy rate of 10 Salman strikes at 118 and not picking Mohammad Haris was a huge mistake

It's the recency bias regarding high run rates and ball striking, esp with IPL going nuts in earlier stages. Last T20 WC in Australia, with good pitches there wasn't that many 200+ games, so I'm thinking par totals+10-15 are going to be enough. Intl cricket is different ball game, Pakistan played the last final, barely missed the one before that courtesy M. Wade, so I won't be surprised if they play another, and might as well win it. Their bowling is going to be the key and bowlers win you tournaments. Their spin is weakest amongst top nations.

@@bhyproductions6990 Since Jan 2014, India W/L ratio is 2.169 in all formats, it is the highest amongst the full ICC members. I have used Jan 2014 as this is when India stopped winning ICC events. You cannot disregard the very good Test Cricket played by India during this time also, clearly the best Test side home and away. Only 1 ICC tournament since 2014 India have failed to reach semi finals (2021 T20 WC), all other events they have been in final or semi final, incredible consistency. Can you imagine if India would have won all these tournaments, International cricket would have become extinct. Australia is a great side but in terms of flare, talent and skill level they are no match to India. All other countries are mediocre at best.

@@simplemaths7611 the major problem with your logic is bilaterals are not taken seriously.Most of the time the best players wont be playing them. India has a high win ratio because india has a huge no. of talented cricketors hence even their tier2&3teams are good whereas for others their tier2 team not good. To win wc you need to be agressive with bat and ball to put pressure and should have a flexible team. Aus has the most flexible team and they play agressively.Hence they are the favorites.
