These super large travel bags as daily use bags were very popular a few years back in my city but now i see people abandoning these as daily use and now using smaller bags and even mini bags. I still love this size bag for travel though because i can get in and out and don’t have to unzip anything! I’ve been carrying a rolling bag to carry my heavy work stuff to protect my shoulders and I don’t know how I lived without it before. Thanks for the review.

Depending on where I’m going, and what mood I’m in, I will occasionally use this as a daily bag. For the most part I use it for either work or travel. I use a Madewell backpack as my workbag now.

I am a bit thoughtful about the treated and untreated parts! I doubt they would take back a bag from me when I go and say the patina is not even. I expect them to say it's my fault🙈 how do you get them to return your bag ???

@@reshmi_beautyaroundtheworld I just stand my ground. You have to convince them that you know what you’re talking about and you won’t accept their excuses for why it is happening. Any time they tried to throw an excuse at me I would come back with why they were wrong. In the end they couldn’t refuse me because they knew I was right. Even the manager said he’d never seen the bags do that before and didn’t realize they were treating the leather. Two other sales associates from LV’s customer service confirmed my suspicions that they were treated.

Had the same issue with a Neverfull from 2017 and now with a new one - the uneven patina because some parts seem to be treated or someting... I really am not sure what to do because it will get worse over time and I hate the look of that too... Glad that somebody FINALLY mentioned this!

Yeah I’m not sure what LV was thinking when they decided to do that. Too many people complaining about patina when that’s what it’s supposed to do! It’s very frustrating. If it’s any consolation to you at all, my friend has a neverfull MM that had the same issue with uneven patina and she has had it for quite a while now. I just saw her the other day carrying it and it did eventually all even out but it took around two or three years. Personally I didn’t have the patience to wait that long because it shouldn’t be made in correctly in the first place! I hope this helped!

So lovely to see you again!! Re covid, i had it very mildly in december 2020, and i am v tired and sometimes have dizzy spells. However, a bloke from work (am in England) has long covid, he caught covid in 2020 too. His symptoms are extreme tiredness, slurred speech, difficulty walking (he's probably in his 30's, slim and generally fit). My friend also got it in 2020 mildly, but her taste hasnt come back. Just a few tastes on the edges of her tongue, thats it. Research fasting perhaps, as buchiner wilhelmi on you tube (a medical retreat) did a tiny study and fasting improved the symptoms. Thanks for the video!!

Hello! I’m happy to be back. My boss’s wife caught long COVID and is still recovering very slowly. My best friend who caught it lost her sense of taste for six months. basing on your experience, i recently bought a pre loved speedy b 35 de, microchipped. When i realised i was not very comfortable with that.Apart from this, do you think there is a big difference in quality between models that were produced for example in 2014 and in 2021 and then; i have heard that lv quality keeps on deteriorating. I would really appreciate your opinion cause i am seriously thinking of returning it. I mean the canvas feels so thin😢

@@zetoni1982 unfortunately there is definitely a difference in the quality of the bags made then and now. The quality is not as good anymore. This is a trend across all the fashion houses. Inferior materials with soaring prices. However, with that said, I will say that the canvas on the Neverfull tote bags seem to be the same. I have a tote from a long time ago and one from just six months ago and they both feel the same.

Hello! I used this bag a lot mostly for work. However there are times when I do use it as a daily bag and I just tuck in the sides like you were mentioning. I don’t think that the GM is too big if you cinch the sides in. The MM version does hold a lot but in my opinion it can still be limiting depending on what you like to carry with you each day.

Then you’re the exception because most don’t patina evenly. You may have gotten lucky and got a bag in which all the leather pieces had protectant. If yours has an even patina then that is most likely the case. Maybe they’ve wised up and are doing all pieces now. At any rate, I won’t be adding anymore LV to my collection for a while.

I didn’t wear mine in the rain initially either. Just wearing and using it a lot will help it to eventually develop a patina. Mine is three years old and gets a lot of use.

I agree 100%! When the cost of a neverfull is at $1700 that’s insane. The quality isn’t increasing with the price and there’s never availability of certain bags because they’re constantly pulling them due to QC issues. Yeah, I’m done with LV personally. I’m giving other brands my business. I’m happy with the few bags I’ve kept in my collection.

I just bought a new Neverfull GM yesterday (it’s my second one and it cost $2100). I also bought my 17 year old the Boetie PM last week. My 20 year old has the Speedy. Does the GM or Graceful have a longer strap ?

The GM has the same length strap as the MM. However, the Graceful has a much more comfortable and longer strap drop. I can easily sling my graceful MM over my shoulder whereas the neverfull GM gets caught on my elbow.

I just bought a Louis Vuitton neverfull monogram on Mercari and it was authenticated by Mercari by Real Authenticate. But I’m still paranoid thinking it’s fake. Are the side straps suppose to be very light in weight?

Yes, they weigh hardly anything at all. The only part that has any weight to it is the end piece of the strap that has the d-ring and sliding piece of leather.

Also, the straps should be long enough to touch the table when you set your bag on it.
