Awesome!! I'm so excited to have come across your channel!! I first watched your homemade paper making video. Which fyi is also a very wonderful video. And it makes my Sagittarius's heart very excited to see and hear you tell us that we don't have to go buy thousands and thousands of dollars worth of materials to even start making our own homemade paper. Plus this video just makes me feel like I can adventure down this crafting skill of making homemade paper and homemade journals and feel confident enough to maybe finally say I have found that one special craft that maybe someday I can say in confidence that I mastered a craft specialty!!! Lol but then again I am a full blown Sag and adventure from one craft to another but master nothing. But with you by myside (or to watch and get inspired and learn from) I just may have found my thing. Thank you for your time, information and advice. Hello Lisa, Your channel has actually been one of my inspirations to try making my own paper as well and I have ordered a mould and deckle and some other paper making stuff from Taobao (this was cheaper then buying a frame and DIYing it) It hasn't arrived yet though. I was wondering do you use any "sizing" for your paper? I have seen this term a few times in other videos but I don't know the Dutch word for it. From what I read its supposed to help make it better "quality" paper and less likely to have ink leak through etc. You're supposed to add it to the pulp or you can add it when the paper is already finished. Personally I'm not planning to write on my paper with anything else than normal ballpoint pens so I don't know if I should be putting in the extra effort / costs to add sizing to my paper, I'm planning to just recycle my own paper as much as possible because I'm broke and buying paper is actually expensive XD
