Honestly kudos to you, that's a lot of hard work and the fact you made it look and feel so good in the end is amazing.

Hello, thank you for the tutorial. I have a question though. Your paper came out white. When I use recycled paper, I get an ugly, pretty dark grey. Is there a way to combat that?

This just prooves that you don't need any expensive notebooks in order for you to have a good/aesthetic journal. Literally anything that reaches the requirement to make or buy a notebook can be good-looking & useable.

I haven’t made paper since summer camp as a kid. This looks SO much better than the stuff we made. Your step-by-step instructions and suggestions for substitutions are all very helpful and very much appreciated! I was going to the thrift store anyway, but now I know where I can get these materials for very little. Oh Lordy, we have so much paper waste that just goes through the shredder and the recycling bin, you have no idea, so thank you so, SO much for this tutorial! You just got a new subscriber 😁

I absolutely love this❤ Thank you for posting this! It’s very detailed and I love that you give alternatives for those items we can’t find! Thank you! That has been my most difficult decision. What can I do next if I don’t have these things? But you answered that question! 🫶🏽 New subscriber here! Going to try and find you in IG 😊

You are so fun to watch. I made my first batch of paper yesterday. Most of the sheets worked perfectly, some not so much 😊. Do you have a video on how to stitch the bindings? That would be very helpful. Thank you

Where do you get the buy the screens you drain the paper on and all the necessary equipment also where did you learn to bind the paper together as it looks amazing but a little complicated 😮. I find your content so interesting and relaxing somehow 😊

Great idea! When we were kids we wrote letters using lemon juice on a normal paper. When you heat it up it turned brown, you can use an iron or a heat gun. It could also work with turmeric, if you add soda it turnes red and if you add vinegar/lemon I’m not sure which color but it changes, it’s chemistry, changing the PH level changes the color. There are very cheap water brushes that you can fill with lemon/soda water or even bleach! Though it might stink 😂 thank you for yet again another great video, I love the way you experiment with everything!

Hi Lisa, thank you so much for teaching us how to make paper, after a few successful tries I had the idea to turn lemon into lemonade. I think you live in the Netherlands and are familiar with the dreaded blue envelopes, it almost always means you have to pay…. So I collected a few of them, turning them into pulp was a real satisfaction 😂 I added some book pages to get a lighter shade, but some of the blue came off when it was soaked, still, it is really a recognizable blue. So now when I get blue envelopes in the mail I’m still not happy, but there’s a little part of me that is… 😂 I’ll share the result on Instagram

Could you not narrate so fast? It’s hard to keep up with the process when struggling to listen to instructions! You might try writing down what you want to say. Highlight important things you don’t want people to miss. Then practice saying and time yourself. Set a timer for the length of your video and see if you can make the instructions fit into the time you have given yourself. Too long? Go back and see what you can cut out. Smile as you speak so you don’t drone on like a buzz saw. This is an amazing, exciting video. Thank you. This is such a cool idea.

Thanks for the great video! I tried this with my kiddos. I didn’t have a spare blender so I took our soaked bits of paper and put them in a 5 gallon bucket and mixed them with a drill with a steel spiral mixer attachment. It’s kind of flaky but it’s beautiful 🙂
