I LOVE that there isnt a load screen between going into and out of buildings, I HOPE it stays that way on launch. Thats like the biggest selling point for me personally, it truly FEELS like an open world.

It's been confirmed by the devs that most of the game will not have any loading screens. Some story sequences will require it, but for the most part the game will be seamless.

The game looks genuinely good... Which is why I'm afraid that its made by the same people who run ToF. Powercreep in ToF is brutally unforgiving to the point it chased a lot of people away from the game because it was impossible to keep up. If they pull that shit here, then NTE is gonna see the same problem right from 1.1. Just gotta wait and see and hope that won't be the case.

powercreep feels brutal because the game is directly involved with other ppl. and it's mmo, the matchmaking requires to you for match the minimum dps check, unless you pull the newest weapon set, you will fall down in dps check

It's because it's by the ToF developers that I'm not worried at all. Yeah, ToF had a rough start, but it's doing great now. The game keeps improving and the devs actually listens to feedback, unlike certain other developers.

I'm not too worried. Tower of fantasy was trash because their servers couldn't handle the amount of players so everything was laggy and delayed even the combat and exploration. It's a lot better now that the game is dead but again this game isn't an mmo like ToF so there won't be server issues on the scale that ToF had since everyone will be in their own world. Yeah probably a few problems here or there because everything is still on a server but at least it won't have to struggle to load other people playing besides maybe 4 person co-op if that even exists

Endgame and stuff to do in the world. Once you collect all the chests in genshin and honkai you can only run around at a leisurely pace but at least here I can drive around and customize a house and I don't mean teapot that system is terrible due to its load limit size and placement restrictions.

I have higher respect for the devs since I really didn't like ToF after playing for a week, and after this video. OH MY GOD. This is if you put Silent Hill, SMT/Persona, GTA 5, Genshin, Honkai, ZZZ, and WuWa (maybe a bit of Sims?) ALL in a blender. I am playing this game Day 1. No questions asked. (Unless KH4, P6, or a NieR/Drakengard game come out on the same day.)

The tof story and dialog was so bad man, this game kind if looks nice but what we saw could just be a new tof expansion. It's almost like they recycled the game and were like "let's hope this time it'll work better". Honestly it could work, if they actually learned from their mistake, but we'll have to wait and see. If you want to see what the game could look like you just have to play TOF and go to Mirroria.

If something that looks passionless soulless then how about games from PS2 below? All of them lacks of expressions with very low quality graphic so they're bad? The essense of gaming is how fun it is and how much things u can do in it. The bad game is the game that only has same content u only repeat on daily chores, killing monster, do tower, farm materials - repeat. NTE gives much more than that with Driving, Radio, Housing, Cars customization and maybe other stuffs they haven't revealed.

@@Abugawuuga I wasn't commenting on the graphics. You missed the point entirely. My point is Hotta Studio is incapable of making me feel they want to make a game instead of a RNG money machine. Both Kuro Games and HoyoVerse let me forget now and then that I am playing a gacha game. Their developers have passion and are able to give their game a soul that lets you feel it's more than just a slot machine. "The essence of gaming" as you put it is precisely what is missing from everything Hotta Studio touches.

​​@@88Opportunistno it isn't, hotta is good in making contents like bubble gun war, racing, volleball co-op, fall guys event etc. Some people is just prefer cinematic and visuals instead of gaming experience and that's fine. But people can't differ anymore between gaming and watching movies, which is why there are soo much long cutscenes in game nowadays compared to back then. And that's already as you said "making you forget" that the thing u can only do in that game is very limited exact same thing everyday.
