Legit though, first time in 5 years I've genuinely enjoyed dps. They blueballed us sooo hard, making us the beta testers and just to take away the fun. Rogue deserves these buffs. Melee is such high risk high reward. Ranged is easy consistency. Give us melees the goated sauce we have the actual dangerous playstyle

Recently, they have been hasting into pushing these class updates. I think they should stay a bit longer on preview, actually PLAY it themselves along with feedback from testers, adjust it, update it on preview, TEST IT AGAIN, then release it to live...

Some folks definately need a potion of patience rank 10 +1! In a perfect situation testing in the test environments would give them everything they need to ensure only fully functional changes go into live. We've all learned the hard way that for whatever reasons, the layers and layers of old code, old bugs that got buried rather than eradicated, old changes that weren't followed through to all points they interact with and similar means that the new bugs often just don't show up till after live implementation. It ain't right but it also shouldn't be a surprise, we should all know not to get too invested too quickly, especially when the the changes are communicated as still being a work in progress.

I understand where you're coming from, dear, but patience has worn thin after a decade of nonesense The player base shouldn't bear the brunt of the challenges and complexities; it's the developers' responsibility to deliver a polished product, given they are compensated for their work. The issues with buried code and old bugs are theirs to handle, and most players simply want quality releases. Despite ample time for internal testing and the preview phase, unresolved issues still make their way to live servers. In my view, there's no excuse for cutting corners-release it when it's functioning as intended. They've created their situation, and it's on them to address it. While I might not agree with all your points, I respect your perspective. Thanks for sharing, gooberface!

What the Holy Hell.. I mean come the frig on... Ok I am not really a rogue Player, yes it is fun, but honestly I do the class no Good playing it, but I LOVE to tinker on her and of course Parkouring. I was actually Like hey I might be able to play this and still be competitive in game, but then they just sucked all the helium out of my balloon and Slowy melted it to a tiny puddle of blah.. I mean I love Rogue Players they go through so much crap as DPS and still play it no matter what..The ride till you die crew. I have to say I have been feeling bad for them lately and was like yayyyy when they got something they could be competitive with Just for it to get nerfed right away.. Hey @GalacticUnderwear. I usually am on board with what you said, but sadly not this time. The changes you mention were on preview which is where things get tested. It was clear as day for me that those multiprocs wouldn't stay as strong as they are now in preview. People investing everything into Whisperknife did it on their own risk tbh. I also started playing it and I have fun with it even in live (that maybe because I'm a bit bored of playing Ranger for 10 years). Yet I truly believe it'll be a strong paragon path when it comes live, if not broken. I'd rather get a fun competitive paragon path rather than a broken one with multiproc abilities (I'm not against multiprocs, I love them actually but sadly this is not mod 15 anymore where every class could get their hands on multiprocs). They should just add a stealth regen ability to Disheartening Strike or some at will, and whisperknife is good to go imho. Thanks for the video :)

It sucks that we only got to enjoy the op shadowy opportunity for a little while but theyre pushing out these class fixes pretty quickly so its kinda expected theyd make some mistakes. Shadow of demise still does great in single target content so if they leave that alone think we'll be alright. Just have to choose whether we're playing for aoe or st dmg before going into certain content. The only thing i dont like about these changes and the fixes to rogue in general is that they basically masked the issues faced by melees in majority of new content by making the rogue ranged.

@GalacticUnderwear yup would be nice, I know barbs are in a rough spot right now also and there no real fix in sight. I'm just glad they thought of something for the rouge to bring it back, feel like a lot of rogue players quit after boa nerfs and less melee friendly content. Problem is there's always outliers with every class, I know a couple barbs that would make any cw look like trash, some rogues that topped mgr boards and even arbiters that had great aoe. Can be tough for them to actually find balance without making those .01% of players into gods. I also wouldn't mind a flavor of the month type meta, I don't main rogue but since it was buffed I did alright in it and managed to comp all the new content. Was definitely a much needed breath of fresh air in the game. But gotta be realistic, 3k mag smoke bomb was a bit over powered even though it felt so good to abuse it lol. It was also fixed really early too so a lot of players didn't even see the full potential of the class, I've ran with others who figured it out and they destroyed me.

This is why I stopped playing honestly. Why play the class you love most and have spent the most time and energy on honing your skills only for it to just get broken by "fixes"? Imma just wait and see how it turns out then decide whether I leave for good or not.

Everyone that played it correctly knew it was broken anyways lol. Razor action isnt supposed to procc 12 times on a daily. That isnt a nerf, its a fix. And stealth regen will be better, and smoke bomb isnt really changing except cooldown and how long it lasts. Its still gonna be a good paragon, i didnt want it better than wizard anyways. Wiz needs a tuning on AoE

Perfect balance is something that is not achievable, unfortunately. For comparison purposes: Blizzard, in their latest hotfix, made balancing changes for 9 classes a grand total of 17 sub-classes (paragons) for both PVE and PVP in less than 2 ish months, and there is still no balance in WoW. If Blizzard can't do it with, at least, 3x as many devs as Cryptic, then having anything remotely close to balance in Neverwinter is just a dream at this point.

path of blade feels slow atm, not more powerfull... i tried some other stuff but not noticing much difference on my damage otherwise. i loved the fact it used to be a faster hitting power. i dont feel a extreme kick either but maybe im just overtuned to parkour over damage on this loadout and i dont care bout much else XD nice sum up past 2 vids either way! greetz =D

What stays is a bad touch in my mouth and the fact that after 1 year break and 1 month playing again i will drop it again. As a non wizard no chance to find a nice group to do endgame. At some point in time, one class or another has been considered OP. They get "fixed" into oblivion, and at some point caught back up a bit. Call me crazy, but why not take a look at when each class was OP, and just revert back to that? If all classes were set to their OP configurations, wouldn't that essentially make everyone equal?

Explain wizard bugs please ? Only bug i see is my fireball and chill strike never hitting 1st time and i have to cast them again and loose arround 5 second in my rotations .. if wizard has bugs its certainly not benefiting players, while even so called nerfed rogues still benefit from all of the bugs and procs, 5-6years rogues dominated all the charts now little change comes and here we are 😑 leave wizards alone, im not even talking about warlocks 😂 they got the shortest cooldown +anim cancel +bug abuse but yes lets talk abt wizards getting free pass 😂😂😂😂

What's going on, mate? I've been clear that the wizard is my second favorite class, but that doesn't mean they're exempt from being balanced, especially considering some of their wonky interactions. Just to set the record straight, the wizard didn't get buffed last mod; it happened before that. I also openly acknowledged that the rogue was overpowered in the past-I'm not denying it. Even when the rogue was too strong, I wanted things fixed. So, there's no basis for thinking I hate wizards just because they out-DPS us. That's not the issue. Aragon and I aren't the same, so lumping us together is pretty funny. If wizards ever get balanced, you'll survive! My main gripe is how quick they are to fix other classes while leaving the wizard alone. I could just as easily argue that you're only saying what you are because you play a wizard. So, let's turn the tables-accusing me of wanting wizards nerfed while you want them to stay overpowered due to your love for them. How's that any different from my perspective? Hello ?

What about the other classes, such as the warlock, barbairin, paladin, or the DC, or even the fighter dps sides of these classes. Gezz I forgot about the bard, how easy is it to forget about them. When is it there turn to be on top? Why don't you bring up these issues being they are so underpowered, instead of focusing on the wizard or the rogue. Yes, I also believe there are huge issues that neverwinter needs to address, not just in class balances.

They should be fixed or removed from the game immediately as they now have multipal strikes that's outputting so much broken damage. One of them doing 5k+ magnitude. Surprised you haven't given a similar stance as the "bit over the top" surf board or mirage set.
