Always entertaining Nev, I was gob smacked when your outfit went for a swim but couldn’t help laugh when you snagged the Trev and your outfit followed it up.. I once saw a bloke lose a custom rod and a Stella reel in 50m of water and he put a sinker and treble hooks on and casted for about 45mins and I was shocked when he actually snagged it and retrieved it.. You just never know your luck. 🍀 Great work..

Mate, get yourself one of those Korean made "Feeling" burley buckets you can fill with water and it has rod holders built in. No more lost or scratched rods/reels.

great video. Check your sabiki regulations for Victoria and you’ll find you can’t legally have 2 baited hooks and unbaited hooks. It either just 2 baited hooks full stop or all unbaited hooks, not a combo of both. We recently clarified this with fisheries. Don’t want anyone to get caught out.

Many years ago fishing with dad for mulloway, my brother cast out one of dads rods and forgot to loosen the drag, we were fishing of a wharf in Adelaide, dads rod shot of the wharf into the water, while later dad got a bite and landed a mulloway about 85 cm with line tangled in it, dad pulled it in so we don’t tangle again, his rid on one end and 105 cm mulloway still attached on the other, never seen anything like it again until this video

You should grab a proper sabiki rod if you're using it regularly. It is hollow and the sabiki retracts into the rod so you don't end up getting sabiki hooks stuck in children and passing dogs.
