Thanks for the tip on how to rig the spike. I had an issue in a recent trip when pinned through mouth that the fish mouth was slipping down over the barbs. I usually user herring/tommy ruff for teasers. They work great. I think, like the salmon trout, they shine in the water. Awesome vid again mate!

totally agree, Snapper are one of the most overrated fish when it comes to eating qualities, great fun to catch and fight hard, but calamari eat better imo

i am heading out for a bait session tonight. hopefully i will get a few squid and salmon. a pinky would be nice as well to mix things up. one thing that i find so fun is getting out small plastics like Zman Grubz and putting sent on them and just casting them out and letting them drift in the current, i get so many snapper doing that. i highly recommend you give it a go

Hi mate I was wondering you may not see this but if you could come down to stony point pier we are regularly there and if you are in the left end corner of the pier there is a sandbank and we prolifically catch whiting caught about 5 king George's yesterday 2 salmon, a few squid, a few flathead, port jackson sharks and more but watch out for the seal

Never, listening to you is frustrating. You need to learn the difference between singular and plural. Assuming you’re sitting in your kayak by yourself you should be saying I, NOT we.
