Absolutely beautiful! That view from the balcony and bed can’t be beat! I thought I was totally spoiled after staying in a Sky Suite. That cabin would make me never want to go home!😂 Enjoy every minute. You two deserve it!

Yes, Robyn… it was beautiful and amazing! We thoroughly cherished every single moment we were in the Villa! Trust me, when I say, we did not want to leave lol. Yesterday we moved to a Sky suite for the second leg/back to back cruise, and I am reminded of how lovely this sky suite is as well. We are very fortunate and blessed to have had the opportunity to spend 14 days on our transatlantic in that phenomenal villa, especially at such a tremendously discounted price. We’re glad you enjoyed seeing it.

I have watched several of your videos. You guys are one of the best out there when it comes to ship and cabin tours. We generally don't gamble except for lottery tickets, but after watching your move up win, I said what the heck and bid on a Edge Villa on our upcoming Apex cruise. There were no Edge villas showing on mock bookings, but there was one Iconic suite. I hoped that someone in a edge villa would bid on the iconic to give us a chance. I also put the lowest bid possible on the iconic suite. It was right at $3500 per person. This would be a move up from a magic carpet suite, (That was a very informative video you shared as well) so I bid with high hopes and low expectations. I only bid what we could afford to spend...and our bid for the ICONIC suite was just accepted!!! We can't believe it and not sure what to do with all that extra space since it's just the two of us, but we'll figure out something. All this to say THANK YOU!!! You guys really make a difference with your videos and we wanted to share our "win" with you since your video inspired me to make the bids. You guys are truly a pleasure and we are grateful for all your content. I can't wait to facetime with our grandkids while on our trip in December!

Thanks Alice! Yes, wow wow wow lol, it was absolutely amazing! As far as the level of service… All I can say is…PHENOMENAL ❤️ We had the royal treatment every second and everywhere we went on the ship. “Anything you’d like” was the consistent message. It truly was an experience of a lifetime and we know what a wonderful opportunity it was for our bid to be excepted in the move up program. Every single thing about it was perfect and phenomenal. We moved yesterday into our Sky suite for the next cruise/back to back, and it is just as lovely as I remember. We are so super excited for this next ports that we have never been to.

Hi Joyce! I know this video was from a year ago but just wanted to say thank you for all the details and amazing tour. We are thinking of doing an EV on the Ascent and this was so helpful. The balcony is absolutely amazing! As it is all open from above, did you miss the lack of shade? Also, did you have an outdoor seating area on the deck outside your suite door? Thanks!

We did not miss the shade. They do have seating outside. Usually 2 chairs and a table. Sometimes there’s a lounge chair, but you could always request one. Thank you for watching!!!

The starting bid was $1300 pp and we bid $1515 pp. The bid price is for the first 2 people only, regardless of how many people are in the cabin. Since we are Elite Plus we had an additional 15% added to our bid by Celebrity; it is one of the benefits of their captains club program for Elite Plus members. I hope this helps. Did you get sea sick in this cabin? I noticed that you are up high and you are at the front of the ship.

No, not at all! We have been on so many cruises that the motion doesn't bother either of us at all. Having said that, we had very smooth sailing during this transatlantic crossing. We had 2 days where we endured some big swells and the ship had a big sway for a bit but it was a slow rock that didn't seem to bother many if any of the passengers. It was an amazing cabin and we would book it again in a heartbeat, given the opportunity 😊 Thanks so much for watching and commenting, we hope you are enjoying our channel and videos. The room is absolutely beautiful. The video could've been about 10 minutes shorter. It was excessive showing the outlets, the light switches/controllers, the thermostat, the bathroom fixtures, the inside of the every drawer and closet🤦🏽‍♀️. But I guess you were so excited never having stayed in a room of that caliber on a cruise ship. Anyways, hope you two have an amazing time for your Anniversary.
