awesome!!! very cool addition. I agree with you that you could print your own bumper and make the winch sit back a little closer to the grill. Would love to see a field test of the winch in action while crawling. cheers!

Thank you. If I make a bumper it might be from brass for a bit of weight too. I’m awaiting some braided line to replace the terrible winch line then I’ll do a test video.

Does it sound like the motor is turning? If so the drive has stripped this happened to one of mine. Look back through my videos, I’ve designed my own servo winch. It’s on thingiverse to download

The winch will fit but the bumpers aren’t available yet I don’t think. It will probably be something that can be 3D printed

No it will require an aftermarket radio with a third channel

I’m running an aftermarket radio and it has an inline winch controller. It’s set to an auxiliary switch.

Funnily enough I have a replacement on its way lol. The micro servo winch I designed myself is much better and stronger.
