Jesus Christ that thing is a work of art. My hands cramp up on 1/10th scales and I don't want to imagine it with this scale chassis.

Its pretty spectacular that they were able to engineer everything so small. Its kinda of a pain to adjust but they did a really good job making almost everything easy to adjust. Thanks for watching!

I work on 1/32 scale Orlandoo trucks all the time...LOL... and I've built 1/87 scale crawlers from Herpa Military miniatures.... now THOSE are a PITA

Wow the quality is off the charts. I’d love to build a 10 scale Shark someday, no point right now since my closest track is 3.5 hrs away. 24 scale opens up a lot of opportunities though!

This one had a rough launch from what I seen on the small scale drift Facebook page. But they seem to have helped everyone and tried to make it right. I got my first mini drift car 3 months ago. Bmrx evo is what I got and I really wish I had went a different route lol but it sucked me in being almost ready to run 😂

Yes you are correct these did have issues in the first run. This batch seems dialed in though. Its for sure tough with the rtrs, I always want to keep it simple but end up changing everything lol

Thanks for sharing new content in this genre! Grew up racing 1/10th scale, and futaba/spektrum radios. Can you recommend a decent transmitter and micro receiver combo for these things? Getting ready to pull the trigger on a dumbo cheapy on Amazon. Thanks man!

Your welcome! I was the same way racing 1/10th buggy out door in high school! So much fun, and finding the drift side last year has reignited everything for me! So Im currently running Futabas lower end 4pm Plus, for the rc drift side of things they are the king of the game. If you think you might want to go a bit deeper into the hobby again I would suggest starting there if you can and want too. Its around $250 without a reciever and you would only need to grab a micro reciever for around $50. Its not cheap but you can add 20+ cars to it so if you caught the bug again you would be set for a while. Mine has 8 cars on it at this point and I just got reback into rc last year lol With the micro receivers that are available your kind of locked into that radio price point across the board with either futaba 4pm, sanwa/airtronics mtr, or the Flysky Nb4. I shop at super-g for most of the drift stuff because they have the best selection of those kinda hard to find bits and almost every kit on the market so if you want to see the mini stuff available I would check there to just see what stuff cost🤘🏼 Hope this helps!

My version 1 was a fiasco... I'm so pissed that they come almost completely assembled now... I shoulda waited.. oh well.. I thought I was gonna miss something not getting a V1 (I have a V1 RhinoMAx 1/10 and it's super rare now)

Thats unfortunate for sure and Im sorry you had to deal with all of that! I know they were trying to make it right with everyone who had issues but i for sure got lucky getting it built! Ya the Rhinomaxs are crazy!

May I ask when ya ordered this, I've kept up a bit but last I heard they pulled them from the shelves until the batch #2 was finished, Have been seriously wanting to order one 😅 Awesome to see build videos on these smaller scales 🤘🤘

Yeah, they had massive QC issues at first batch distribution. Several issues with high frequency of failures, issues like crap instructions, to missing parts, to parts not being drilled properly etc. Since then, various stores have been working with Rhino racing to assist customers who received those earlier kits to sort out their issues. For the next batches, rhino racing is being a lot more careful with QC. For me for example, I preordered early, but from Australia, and I live in NZ. We are slower to get things down here and the store I purchased from basically told rhino not to bother sending them the kits to distribute until all QC has been fully checked over. Hence, because we receive things slower down here, the store was able to step in before the first batch was distributed. We are still waiting though :D

Yes exactly as @pal es above mentioned. They had issues in the first batch and are starting to get the second round out now. They did have issues with batch one and have made it right with everyone that had issues so far. This next batch so far has been good from what I’m seeing and hearing from the guys at the track. They should be back up soon for orders, Super-G is the best place that I know of and they will help you if you have any issues! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

Does that battery fit in the stock battery location?

Yes it fits across the chassis as intended. The battery fits better sideways so it put the leads facing forward or backwards so I would have had to add loner leads to the esc. I just dont have any extra wire so i got createrive to keep the battery terminals close to the esc,

Notice you changed the connect to 2mm bullets for the battery, do you just cut off the current jst connector and solder on the new 2mm bullets!?!

Yes you are correct. I just cut them and solder the 2mm bulltets.

People are allowed to spend their money how they want and this is in the exact range of the rest of the market. The chassis is $200, the 1/10 scale version of the Shark cost $1200 for a roller so its pretty reasonable when you compare it to the rest of the market. I hear you though, its still a lot of money.
