Hey Jonathan, I'm going to college and I need a good laptop that will last me around 4 years at least. I was thinking mac because I like OS X and just the way macs work. I have enough money for the 15" model but I don't know if I need it. I do some logic pro X work, a lot of Web browsing, and other pretty basic tasks. Should I save the money and get a 13"? I am an owner of a new, back then, of an early 2015 MacBook Pro computer. This is my second MacBook Pro. Before that, I used Windows based computers and laptops. With Windows based computers, I used to have to upgrade computers every 2 to 3 years as they became clogged with junks software / malwares that made the computers slow and hard to tolerance even on a daily basis using non-graphic intensive work. With Apple computers, no more of that. Also, with Windows back in the days, I used to spend days in reconfiguring and moving data each time I transitioned from one computer to another. With Apples, that shrinks to a few hours and, within that time, just a few clicks of option. To this date, I am still using my old 2015 MacBook Pro 13", still happy with its performance. Apple is the Toyota / Lexus of computing world.

Still rocking my 2008 unibody MacBook with a 2.0Ghz C2D. Thing's a tank. Made it through 2 years of high school, all 4 of college, and it's still kicking a year and a half after that. Absolutely solid machine. I'd consider one of these if I didn't build my desktop to replace it but I just can't justify a laptop anymore for the work I do now. That said, this would be my go to without question. The force touch trackpad is awesome.

***** you'll always be able to build a pc with stellar performance. I know, I built my Windows desktop which blows pretty much any Mac out of the water (short of the Mac Pro purely because of the Xenon chips, mines a 4790k), but there's something to be said for OS X. I still use my MacBook and I love my PC. They're very different and I do different things with them, but they're both great machines. You're paying for the entire package when you get a Mac. You're sacrificing some performance for continuity, and that's fine by me. The package that is the retina MacBook Pro is really hard to beat as far as notebooks in that size/form factor range go. Desktops though? I'll always lean PC (purely because you can build your own that'll run circles around a Mac) but I'd buy another MacBook in a heartbeat if I needed a laptop.

Today I'm going to review the 2015 MacBook Pro. Before I tell you what I felt while using this, let me tell you about the performance first. First, the price is 2 million won. I think it's about $2000 in dollars. The display features a 13.3-inch retina display, and the storage uses 256 gigabytes of storage. We're using Intel core i5 as a processor. Let me explain the good thing and bad thing of this performance. The good thing is that my MacBook has various connection ports, but 2021 MacBook has only type c connection ports, and have to pay money to buy the port to use the connection port. Another good thing is that my MacBook lights on the backboard apple logo , but 2021 MacBook doesn't have light. I think it's much prettier when the backboard lights up. But that doesn't mean there are only good things. The bad thing is that my MacBook doesn't have an M1 processor for the new MacBook, so it feels slower than the new MacBook, and my MacBook is a little heavier because it is thicker than the new MacBook. And this is not only my MacBook's weakness, but also all of the MacBooks, iMacs, and MacPros weaknesses are not allowed to use Hancom Office, so it is inconvenient in Korea, but expert and KZbinrs and people doing detailed work can use it. This concludes my MacBook Pro 2015 review today

God I can’t believe its been 5 Years... It’s 2020 and I’ve had mine since high-school. Its my first and only Mac and also my first major investment. It’s just now starting to show it’s age since the programs I need are becoming more resource hungry with every update. Go to apple's website and configure a MacBook pro the way you want it, and go to Dell's website (I pick dell as I believe they have the same build quality as Apple) and configure the Latitude 14 7000 series with the same stuff as the MacBook pro. I maxed out the MacBook pro 13" specs, I chose the latitude 14 7000 series as its the closes screen size I found on there, and configured it the same way. Although the ssd was half the side of the MacBook pro's ssd, and screen was larger, but of worse quality, its price came to $4,124. The MacBook pro with all configurations maxed out was $2,700.

Just got my Macbook Pro today! I went with the middle one, 2.9 ghz and 512 SSD. So far I am very pleased. Granted I could've waited till 2016 for their new possible design. It's Apple, you wont have the latest model for long! This is running Final Cut like a pro! I'll take this over the 15inch any day 1 for the weight, this 13 inch is very light and easy to tote around. Also the price! I really didn't want to pay over $2000 to get a quad core and dedicated graphics! If I was using this for gaming then I would probably build my own PC for half the price anyways. I recommend this Laptop very much!!!

Don't get a Windows PC. If you get a Windows PC you will get more frustrated that anything, horribly horribly interface and just usability overall. OS X is the way to go if you don't wanna feel tempted to smash your computer every time you use it.

I'm getting a Mac and I agree with everything except the gaming, it's not a game heavy computer its programming editing and other stuff though it can handle some games

+Dirt Detector Macs are the worst possible choice if you want a gaming computer. 2x cheaper Windows laptops will run games better. For everything else, Macs are great.

The best review I've seen! I have been looking to upgrade from my 2011 Macbook pro, and didn't know if I needed the "Pro" or if I could save money and survive with an Air. This review showed REAL application and a clear demonstration of the Pro's ability. I was already convinced I'll need the Pro, but I really loved seeing it in action. Thanks!

That thing is fast. I rendered out a 2 GB 1080p video on that machine in 5 minutes. I struggled to do that on a Windows computer. That takes maybe 35 to 40 minutes to do on an i7 machine that runs Windows.
