These were some of the best episodes of all time Laura Parker know she was pretty back then I don't know who did the casting and who was all around but I bet it was fun to be there on the sets and everything and to be around all of them they were gorgeous I bet they had stories and fun things to tell rest in peace Grayson Hall AKA doctor Julia Hoffman I loved Julia they made it so worthwhile watching they just did ❤ Thayer David Jonathan Frid Rodger Collins Naomi mrs. Stoddard all of the ones we've lost and I love John karlen oh I love him so much and Joel Haskell was a good-looking man😪 to die for nothing, these were some brilliant days because that was one good-looking man and did y'all know he was first choice for Magnum p.i. because he had it I hate the way he died and so many people in the 80s the 80s brought terrible tragedy and Brilliant TV shows to the people that we have lost from Dark Shadows they called it a soap opera spook opera everything else but there has been no other show like Dark Shadows not in London not overseas anywhere I bet everybody watching in the 60s and 70s when we all really did care about one another and love some of the actress went on to Ryan's Hope the edge of night all my children and everything else because I think Burke Devlin AKA Jeremiah I think he went on to play Steven frame on another world I was a kid in the 80s my grandmother loved another world and Days of Our Lives Hallelujah Jesus don't even mention The Young and the Restless we can't help it these TV shows if you're grown are part of our lives every time I hear about one of the Stars dying from Dark Shadows I pray and I cry Carolyn was perfect she is Oscar material they should have went back in time and gave them Oscars honorary Oscars I swear they deserve it nobody could scream like Maggie Evans or Carolyn Carolyn's teeth where a dentist dream she was a 60s girl all up and down that hair those teeth beautiful I love them all but as a kid living way out in the country it was like I lived in another world to almost like a Collinwood but no vampires just came on after school in the 80s and we always got to watch 1 episode until summer came and we were out for school Dark Shadows let me tell you what it used to scare me so bad but I was hooked on it my friend pat her mother would tell those kids go watch Dark Shadows and let it scare you kids her brothers and sisters would hide under the bed as soon as the music started on the intro of Dark Shadows and the narrator at the beginning of the show ohmygod the 1980s will live in my head forever and I'm pretty sure some of y'all out there too Dark Shadows fan Infinity this show taught me a lot of things I didnt know and I didnt want to know till this day you couldn't pay me a billion dollars to stay at that house Collinwood 🤣❤ Dan Curtis Grayson Hall's husband and all of the rest that had a hand in it OMG , pop icon my foot whoever orchestrated this back then knew exactly what they were doing and it just took his own life form and kept going ✌️

It doesn't matter what century storyline that Quentin is in he is always throwing out threats, getting arrested what is a womanizer. In today's time he would be canceled and probably back in jail, because he would have definitely killed somebody....Lol

Ep#1195 means the end is near, only 30 shows left. I paid almost $400 for the whole collection over 10 years ago, worth every penny and still that price. To date I haven't watched all 1225 shows, but patiently viewed every episode of all the costumed storylines. Those plots fascinated me when originally broadcast because I only watched occasionally. If you missed the key transitional episode into the past you were lost no matter how many times Victoria Winters intoned "Barnabas has gone back to 1897." How did he go, take a bus? One week the cast dressed in contemporary fashions, the next the dadgum Revolutionary War's going on and familiar faces were answering to different names. Bingeing DS is also an education in the creative use of stage flats.

Barnabas was trying to talk to Angelique if she could still regain her powers to deal with Gerard. But between Barnabas & Angelique were hopeless. Now, Angelique changed her mind & is willing to help Quentin as a favor for Barnabas. Angelique was using a voodoo doll to try to kill Gerard/Judah. But Gerard/Judah interrupted & called her Miranda. Then Gerard/Judah the warlock casts a spell on Angelique. Uh-Oh! Now, both Gerard/Judah tells Dawson to keep her hostage.

Oh Dear God so THIS is where the 1841 parallel time storyline started. So much inconsistent weirdness. I get that if Barnabas wasn't a vampire and he married Josette but where the hell did these other characters come from?

@@melodiefrances3898 I might be wrong but I think I read that they knew they were getting cancelled so that they just kind of went on with it. Seeing Grayson truly be like an actual Collins matriarch was kind of fun (channeling Barbara Stanwyck!) 😃 And seeing Jonathan's character obsessed with Lara's for a change! but about 1/2 of the time I just felt so bad for the actors.
