I’ve been a Mizuno fan boy for almost two decades now, but those mb irons are gorgeous. I love the simplicity.

Spent a couple hours in a GC4 today with the 790s, Staff blades and 620MBs. The 790s are loooong 190+ carry but cannot even compare in feel to the Wilsons or 620s. I have to say the 620s to me feel even more solid than the Staff blades. I just sold my 718s and got the Blueprints but damn the 620s look and feel great. Love the retro brushed finish.

A little nod to Srixon with the sole on these. Srixon's VT sole is the bees knees. Both these offerings from Titleist look great and great review as always Michael.

I really like my Z785 but they don’t spin like my Mizunos did. The MP20 range and the CB/MB have me wanting a new set. If I do get a new set though it’ll likely be 919Ts as they are pure and should come down in price a bit.

Can you compare the MB to T100?

I can’t wait for you to review the Mizuno’s MP-20 irons. Thanks for all of the great content - always very well done and great balance of subjective and objective information.

The MB and CB look great ,as for the new AP'S or T series they dont look very good .
@samphotoyt5 жыл бұрын
Nice job as always but... I don't understand what all the hype is about blades that, as you said, basically don't change year to year. Titlist just changes the numbers, makes the smallest of cosmetic changes and pushes them out. Considering the 620 MB and CB perform essentially the same, only a very small percentage of golfers will buy them anyway.

These irons are made for a select few players in the market. It’s designed for the top 1% of players, and the clubs are released as an option to that small market. They make their money on the chunky game improvement sets.

No. Those 716 CB are ICONIC. Best Titleist CB-Ever.

MB looks awesome! What are your thoughts as to whether Titleist need five types of club and which two would you drop (unnecessary)?
@wahlm30305 жыл бұрын
I think they could do without the cb, I can't imagine many players go after it with the mb and ap2(t100) being aimed at better players
@robroninja5 жыл бұрын
wahlm3030 the CB is an important range as it’s designed to mix sets with the MB, example, playing MB from P-6, and CB 5-3, the T100 or AP2 are not geared towards better players, maybe your might break 80 player. MB/CB mix is perfect for your low single handicappers, personally I think all 5 ranges are necessary and geared towards different players
@wahlm30305 жыл бұрын
@@robroninja the ap2 may not be advertised to better players but it's the most used iron from Titleist on tour
@robroninja5 жыл бұрын
wahlm3030 I’m not saying good players can’t play cavity back, but I suspect that stat is mostly players dropping the 5-3 from their blade sets and adding in AP2, which has a bigger head, like Justin Thomas for example who plays MB and switches to AP2 for his low irons. CB offers the workability of the MB but adds a bit of forgiveness. Personally I find the AP2 less workable than the CB
@bertraminc94125 жыл бұрын
Are these adjustable or is that just for fitting?
@kovi174 жыл бұрын
Just for fitting. It is you can swap out shafts and heads easily making the fitting process quicker!

Would you say the MB is just as soft as a mp-18? And would you say the new CB has less offset than the previous model? thanks.
@MXJEFF945 жыл бұрын
I have the MP 20's now. I just hit the 620 CB and to me it feels just as soft, if not softer. Its an amazing club.

titleist, now completely ruined except for mb" ... losing their identity ,, totally sucks ::;;;;;
@uwrossl5 жыл бұрын
LOL. Nah. It's everything Titleist needed to do from a club stand point. TS line of drivers and fairways are madly successful. Gaming TS3 driver and TS2 3wood and they kill. Haven't tried the TS hybrids yet but I'm sure they are great as well. T100's look like more of a players iron now that they lost that ridiculous offset that the AP2 had and have a thinner top line. Looks like a CB now with a little more tech to it. MB's and CB's both look great/same. T200 and T300...maybe not their best release but I wouldn't game those anyway. Game Srixon Irons regardless but Titleist is making great clubs and the ProV1/ProV1x still reigns supreme in the ball category. Titleist is just fine and overall introduced better options that caught up with the competition.
