Brixton: It got me thinking there was a new bike builder in SW2. A bike company you may be interested in is the Thai-Chinese Stallions. You see them everywhere in Thailand. Dirt cheap, the largest engine is a sleeved-down 400 cc copy of Honda's 500 cc single from the 1980s.

I know, I know, it's made in China. Even Chinese do not believe in our quality of motorcycles. BUT! THIS Brixton is made from a new manufacture, and the quality looks great. Better than some South Asian manufactured products. I just ordered the bike today and lets see how it goes. From what i know, the only issue right now is the temperature of the engine will reach your butt through the seat. Considering changing a seat might help to solve the problem AND improve the comfort.

The only comment I have is about the instruments display, and your note of being potentially difficult to read in sunlight: my Yamaha XSR 900 has this type of display and it's absolutely clear and perfect in all lighting conditions, including direct bright sunlight. So it's not so much about having inverted colors, it's definitely about the quality of implementation. I have no idea about the quality in Brixton's bikes, but from your note it seems Honda isn't really paying attention to this detail.
