Wrapping the pillow form in batting and putting it back in the cover helps a lot. You can wrap as much as you feel comfortable with. I love your videos. There’s no pretense, a home that’s lived in, with 3 young boys. You’d story of going at 19 to NC was so close to my life. Twenty three years as an Army wife.

I tend to want to tackle the toughest job first. However, generally before I can do that, I have to do a few easy chores to "clear the path" for the big ones...i.e. empty the dishwasher, start a load of laundry, etc. LOVE your videos!

Quick fun fact or tip My avocados were ripening fast well someone on youtube said ,that if you have them sitting by a food that is real acidic like oranges or limes they will ripen faster than putting them in a cool dark place .. Bananas will also something with the acidic gas released by the produce that tends to ripen other fruit ....Its kind of a neat science lesson ...love your channel

Just a thought... Would you consider moving your diffuser and oils to the kitchen area to alleviate them from the console in your family room. That way you can place seasonal decor there. Your area is open enough to enjoy the aromatic scents from your essential oils.😉❤️🌷😍

This is the first one of your videos I've seen. I have some questions: What makes you choose the sponge or the brush to scrub dishes? Do you rinse your dishes before putting them in the dishwasher? Where we live, water is expensive so I can't rinse my sink out so often or wash dishes with so much water, do you have a big water bill? You are right - at any job including homemaking you should try make it a little bit pleasant in your surroundings. I have a suggestion: when changing your pillow covers, do them all in 1 spot so when the feathers go flying you only have 1 disaster area! For your couch, you can try more filling, but that might only be solved with a different style couch. Also try putting all of the couch legs on a rug (not just the front legs) it won't slide around so much. You can see your boys are watching you & learning from you. It's awesome you are involving them in cooking! Don't forget to get them more involved in cleaning too- like those staircase handrails for starters! Thank you for raising fine young men! You're doing a wonderful job!

Amanda, since u are a huge fan of essential oils, my friend, a terminator guy told me a simple and cheap way to keep spiders away from my home: - bottle spray - half water/ half alcohol - 30 to 45 drops of mint or peppermint essential oil - some bay leaf mix up before use and spray all over the corns of your house. outside and inside spray around doors and around the windows. Will keep away a lot of bugs, but specially spider, flies, roaches and tiny bugs. I live in Orlando Florida, and i had in the past spiders problems, and my friend told me about this cheap solution. Since them, my house have been free of bugs. Thank God and my friend. Ps: i have 2 cats and its safe for them. I adore your videos and the way u always inspire me. have a lovely day 😘

In short I recently involuntarily became a stay at home mom and the things you said during the video were so helpful and so many different ways . I’m really interested to try some of the techniques like getting my family to pitch in a little bit more my kids etc. and see if it takes some of the weight off of my shoulders. Tip for your fried rice... Try a bit of sesame oil instead of butter to fry the egg. It's BOMB!
