We have been pulling up the carpet in our house and putting laminate flooring down. I absolutely love it!! We have been doing all the work ourselves and saving money doing it that way. So far we have done our living room, dining room and master bedroom. We also pulled up the old floor the kids bathroom and put new laminate floor in there. We only have 3 more rooms to do and that will be done. A lot of work but we’ll worth it!!

My mum taught us to keep everything tidy during the week, picking up everything before we left a room. Also some things need to be cleaned daily (or several times a day), like the stove and surroundings and the sink. But above everything else, all the house needs to be cleaned the same day. Otherwise, you drag with your feet the dirt from the unclean rooms to the clean ones, so I totally get what you are saying

I also watched your pantry makeover and was so inspired to do my own. Im a renter and we have those wired shelves. I decided to use dollar tree craft boards and wallpaper them with a wood look and then was able to put of jars and containers in without worrying about them being unstable and it looks so cute now. I used the power wash on my shower and barely had to scrub anything. I was HIGHLY impressed. I normally use dawn and vinegar, but the power wash was FANTASTIC!!!

I use the apple scent and it is amazing. I even use it on our glass shower in our master bathroom. It cuts straight through the grime without having to scrub.

the one wall in the bedroom darker - yes! I can also see some dark rose or red or some dark rose and green in the living room decor; bright pops of color; such pretty rooms!

I am excited to try your version of the oat bites! Growing up, my Mom would make a similar version called campers energy balls. They are a favorite treat with my own children now. Recipe is simple: 2 cups of dry oats, 2 cups of nonfat dry milk, 1 cup peanut butter and 1 cup honey. Soooo good!

my husband got me a bissell crosswave for christmas 2 years ago, and it is definitely an investment but it’s amazing! i hate doing floors, and our entire house is tile but the crosswave saves so much time! it sweeps and mops at the same time, and makes my floors look and smell great. even with 2 cats and 2 dogs :))

I would love to see just straight decluttering videos. I have been decluttering my house for over a year and from my experience and what I have seen on line, it is best to keep decluttering separate from cleaning. It not only becomes very overwhelming to the point you will not want to continue, but it can also get confusing. Looking forward to this series! 😊

Decluttering is something I like to see. I’m in the midst of trying to put together a 5 tier chrome shelf unit all by myself.....it’s chore that is different, but with throwing out a bookshelf headboard I had to get something to put my QUEEN band items on.

Love your channel Amanda and the great content. I would love to see more decluttering episodes. I am working remotely and the only way I stay on top of laundry is to incorporate it into my work schedule. Either right before I start work or after my lunch I start a load. I then take an afternoon break to fold it. I have never seen the broom trick for the shower. I just spray down my favorite cleaner, turn on vent, and run hot water while I mop the house. It always works like a charm.

New to your channel. I found you yesterday when I was looking for a pantry organization video. Those relax me lol. I’ve since binged a bunch of videos and subscribed. I’ve also gotten another large box of items out of my kitchen. My children are 26 and 14 and I realized I don’t need a lot of the cups and plastic plates. Then I realized I don’t care for my “Tupperware” and wanted to only use my glass containers for leftovers. Then I saw I had too many baking pans and casserole dishes. I also opened my drawers and found utensils that I never used, didn’t even know what they were for to be honest, I inherited some from my mother. This is the 4th time I’ve purged in the last few years and each time my oldest goes thru for his household. Thank you for more motivation.

Regarding the couch, I would recommend leather. Yes it is more expensive and you don't get as many choices with color and patterns as with fabric; however, the time you save in cleaning a leather couch vs. fabric has been well worth it for us, and they last longer than fabric, especially if you have pets. Pet hair wipes right off, it doesn't embed in the leather. We went from leather to fabric and back to leather. Our first leather couch, our toddler (long ago) spilled a bottle of paint on an entire cushion. We caught it right away and it wiped right off. I don't have a sectional, but the ads I've seen for Lovesac seem to have a sturdy way of keeping the pieces together. Thanks for the videos and cleaning motivation! Yes, a contrast wall color behind the bed is a good idea!

I have the O Cedar spin mop and a Shark steam mop. I like the spin mop to use 1 tsp of Tide powder. I use the mop to clean the baseboards of dust and dirt as I mop each room. The steam mop I always use on our tile. I do use it on the laminate as well. So I use both rotating their use.

I painted my couches and used Scotch guard on them. It has held up so great. My teenager likes to snack while playing his game. Lol. It works.❣️ love to see organizing and deep cleaning or rearranging

Favourite tips: essential oil in the plug of the sink, prep out fruit and veg Totally with you in the lists I am lost without a list I like both dedicated declutter videos but also like ones with cleaning mixed in too. The dark wood floor in your bed room will look great if you want you can add a rug and yes an accent wall behind your bed Have a great week and I am definitely going to give the oat bites a try :)

My couch is the same way with getting dirty. I have a charcoal gray, microfiber sectional. I also have 2 kiddos, 2 labs and an orange tabby cat. Once a week or so, I fill a small bucket with hot soapy water and an ecloth. I dunk the ecloth and wring it out so it’s just barely wet/damp and wipe down the couch. Coincidentally enough, I did it this morning just before watching your video 😆 works like a charm and my couch (that I’ve had about a year and a half) still looks brand new 💕 hope this helps

9:10 just a suggestion when asking your viewers to turn on the bell… there are 3 options (i had to google each meaning which was annoying) when clicking in the bell and they should choose ALL for ALL notifications. at least that’s what i have on my ipad. 😊 maybe viewers still get notifications if it’s on PERSONALIZED but i’m not sure.

I use the cedar mop . It’s like a bucket 🪣 mop that spins your mop head dry . Lol or rinses it out I should say . And I love it . It’s easy and works really well with our floors . But I do want a steam mop again to deep clean our floors . I did have one before we moved and loved it but I need a new one . Thanks for the video . This is motivating me to get our house clean !!! I have been so busy studying that I have neglected our home . Time to take a day off and get this house 🏡 clean 🧼 ❤️
