Thanks a lot, oh yeah you know how much I love the Multistrada V4, ducati, and other manufacturers of course, are just making such a great range of bikes at the moment,mate if I was the other side of the camera and trying to decide what bike I wanted to buy I just don’t know what I would get, all depends on what u feel most comfortable on, like to look at, what you use it for etc.. I’m glad I just have to ride them!! Will have some videos on the H2 soon , he’s a lucky man as he has a few of them

@@ducatinyc they had to do drastic changes to progress, and imo they have done a great job, looks lighter, sharper, almost looks like a mini Streetfighter, think it looks awesome , i personally love classic bikes but also appreciate how good these new bikes are, not just ducati but across other manufacturers too, we are lucky to have all these bikes to choose from, now I have to put some miles on the new Monster and see just how good it is :)

Yeah it definitely looks better to me , it needed a drastic change to modernise and update the bike, I think they have done a great job, been some comments about how it looks a little like other bikes, maybe it’s just looking more modern now, makes the old monster look a little dated and heavy now to me

You get the seat and the rear seat cover with the plus Monster, you can not have the seat on the bike though when using the cover, it’s one of the other

Pretty much the old monster with a cheaper frame ie cast alu instead of the cromoly trellis frame. But honestly when a new bike has a new frame then it is a new bike, at least for me. But I wished the new monster would be a bit different then the old monster with a cheaper frame and a new swing arm.

Tbh it’s nothing like the Old monster, not only to look at but to ride too, you should what h the first ride video as it’s ... well you will see In the video :)

@@ProjectMoto well it should be lighter and stiffer, but the new cost cutting design of the frame will probably be interchangeable with the older monster. Maybe small differences like different airbox and stuff like that. But to me it is the same bike as before but with a new alu cast frame they bolted on the older monster :P But like I said, for me a new frame is a new bike so it is way better than say the new zx10r, r6, the older fireblade and the new cbr600rr which still uses the same old frame :P

It's a nice alternative for a Duke 890 or Yam mt09 but I would buy none of these. I just don't like the design, looks to basic / typical. Rather had a Ducati alternative for the Nine T or Thruxton RS.

Tbh I like both bikes a lot… just depends on how and where you ride and what you use the bike for … for me some days I would want the monster 937 and some days the 1200, if I did have a 1200 though it would be the 1200r .. both very cool..937 is a more nimble bike if that’s what your looking for , you would have to sit on them and maybe get a test ride on them

Guys, I weigh 215lbs (97.5 kg) and I'm 6'1" (185.4cm). Do you think this bike is too small for me?

Right that’s hard to say as everyone is different in size,riding position,how they ride , when I say size difference someone can be 6,1” but have longer legs/arms then someone who’s the same height , so it’s hard to say, I’m only 5’8” and 75kg and it fits me fine, I know a guy who’s about 6’3” and has a Panigale V2 and he loves it, which is a bike again that I think fits me so your just have to wait I guess until your bike or a demonstrator arrives for you to sit on, what I will say is I have been riding the bike and it’s... well your have to wait for the next video 😉

Yeah they are different and would feel very different to your bike, especially the twin cylinder engine , depends what you use the bike for really , I personally really like it but then I also like inline 4 engines, you should have a test ride if one for sure , the quick shifter is really good too :)

Yeah it’s been around for a long time so people will still like the old monster, change is always a big thing , which although they are not being manufactured anymore they will still be around in the used market so will be there for people to enjoy ...I like old classics and new bikes,but for the bikes to progress and get better there needed to be a drastic change, but I’m the same the new Panigales, zx10’s and other sports bikes are awesome but I still love and prefer the old 7X7R’s , they are not as good as new bikes but I love the look of them so I get that coming from Monster owners , for me though the new Monster looks really cool In The flesh, especially in the matt black colour :)

Yeah some will prefer the old one some the new, personally I prefer this 950 as it’s more sportier and sharper then the old monster but that’s me, some bikes I prefer the older version of bikes to look at and ride depends on the bike , that’s the Beaty of all the different bike we have to choose from, the 1200r monster was the best for me but some like the 797,821 or older monsters , just the way it is, but the new monster is the best one for me now

This new Monster better be the real deal, because the performance is the only thing it has going for it. It now has to face the 890Duke, and the 890 is the "daddy" of mid size nakeds... If it doesn't beat the 890 Duke, it's going to be pretty embarrassing for Ducati. Then you have the street triple RS... The mid sized naked segment is thought at the moment, and with this design, the heritage and pedigree isn't going to sell the new bike, it better overperform the competition

Tbh Everyone who see it really likes it and is surprised how good it looks, had all 3 colours turn up today at the shop and red looks cool, which I don’t really ever go for in a bike, don’t matter if it’s a bike, trainers, music or women everyone likes different things, which is a good thing, me personally I like it and definitely won’t forget it... we took it to a track day at Brands Hatch the other day and it was... well your see soon

Big disappointment. I’ve got the 797, thats the last proper monster, air cooled. The trellis frame made the monster, sorry. I’m a purist :).

In the UK the Monster is about £3k more then the MT 07, I’ve ridden both and tbh i would still buy the Monster over the MT O7, but again people are gonna buy what they like and factor different things like cost etc .. but it really does ride nice down the twisty roads :)

Personally I really like it, but then it’s more my kinda bike for a modern bike then the older Monsters, but everyone likes different bikes , just the way it is, I got to ride it today which will be in the next video

Everyone gonna have different views on all the different bikes out there but tbh most people who has seen it in the flesh have liked it, yeah it’s more modern looking then the older monster and has a different style but the more ride look at it the more I like it :)

@@ionutzcar8158 yeah you know when I rode the bike I came back and said really they could of Called it something different and carried on with the old monster ... but that’s the thing things have to change to evolve into something better... check out the first ride video as the bike is... well you will see :)
