Thank Youuuu.!! I have the same problem. While watching your video, on how to assemble. Was removing the product out of the box and when I checked that plastic thing on the spring panel, is the same thing. It's broken. It just came off. Thank Youuuu.!! For an idea by replacing it with a bolt... Again. THANK YOU.

Me too. Literally still in the box and lightly lifted it and it immediately snapped off. I called Sunjoe support and they don't have a replacement part for that so I'd have to ship it back to them before they would send a replacement. I think I'll try supergluing it and/or try a bolt like you did.

Same thing! That door snapped off just lifting it, which I did gently after watching your video. I hope this thing works better than this leads me to expect. I kept the box just in case it needs to be sent back.

I just used it today, a few hours ago Scarfing my backyard... its more powerful, wider, and easier to maneuver, but it ended up breaking just like the 13inch. I have some bamboo roots in my back yard and when the Scarifier hits these roots, the internal gears strip out just like the 13 inch did for me. If I use it as a Dethatcher only and don't Scarify over roots, it works well. I'll be posting a video about it in a few days.
