I now exclusively use generics. The quoted amp-hour value may be overstated, but they are so much cheaper than EGO's. China is good at Li-ion tech, so there is little reason to distrust most of these products. I've had similar over-heat/ dormancy issues with EGO batteries-but none with the generics. Plus, I also prefer Greenworks leafblowers, as they don't have any overheat issues (and use generic batteries as well). I won't pay more for a battery than the tool itself.

Plastic mower deck is about the dumbest idea ever. Then to sell this as an option? Mine got a small chip on both sides approximately in the center. It has now cracked almost in half I think the motor is the only thing holding it together. This may have saved it.Best thing would've been a metal deck.

I am returning this cover. While the overall experience is pretty good, the trackpad is not. Not awful by any means, but it doesn't even come close to the Samsung Galaxy Book Keyboard Cover: you can't press a keyboard button and use the trackpad at the same time; swiping left and right using two fingers to remove notifications doesn't work (you have to left click and swipe); scrolling through apps is jerky and there's some noticeable input lag in the trackpad detection. Too bad, I was hoping to replace my Samsung Keyboard Cover and Book Keyboard Cover with this, but I guess I'll have to go back to the Book Keyboard Cover for the time being.

Quoted $7000. You admittedly paid roughly $2000 for all the components. And it took you 3 days to install. Now what warranty do you have? zip zero nada. What guarantee do you have that nothing will cause damage to you, your loved ones, your home yada yadda. Licensed contractors come with a guarantee you won't have issues. God forbid you do have an issue, you have insurance to fall back on. Is life worth $5000? I'd think so. And don't forget, the trades companies need to make money to survive too!

A better idea with a lot less work. Just wire the adapter to a DC barrel connector and no need to mess with the original housing. However. It also works on 18-20v so you don't even need the step down. A 20v dewalt battery just works with zero modification. You also have some lost energy from the step down.

Whenever in doubt, take off the front wheel of each mower and weigh them:) That said, HYA and HZA models of the Honda HRX217 lineup are costly to maintain after the 5-year warranty expires. For example, the transmission assembly alone is ~$400. The VKA and, if blade stop needed, VYA models of the Honda HRX217 lineup are much less costly to maintain and super reliable.

This is the first product listed in amazon when i searched. It immediately look like all that I wanted in a case/keyboard. But i actually want a case-case too for just a better hand-held feel while using it as a tablet. Maybe theres a simple one where it would still work with this case (not lose too much magnetic force).

I bought a Craftsman lawn mower with a Kohler engines 15 years ago. This lawn mower sits outside in the rain and snow. Every year i do a oil change and change the air filter. Every second year I change the fuel filter and spark plug. Some say I do way to much maintenance on it. The way I see it I spend roughly $15.00 every year and $25.00 every second year doing maintenance. Again I bought this 15 years ago and it starts every year on the first pull. I also use 92 octane gas with next to nothing ethanol. I also drain my tank and carb every fall. Once this one fails I will get a Toro.

I have both Ego brand batteries and generic. I can tell a slight difference in the Generic ones in that they don’t last quite as long and the original Ego. But, for the price difference I think if I need another battery I’ll go with Generic again.

Finally! I found a review of these that talks about sitting on the couch, or in bed. I never work at a desk - it's nearly impossible to find tablet keyboard cases with a high level of lap appeal. THANK YOU for saying the Dexnor cantelever case actually works.

The issue is that those pack converters dont allow the tools to communicate with the battery, you get no thermal, overload, or any of the other protections built in with the batteries and tools. I know guy that used the Milwaukee one on the same Rotary Hammer and insta killed it pretty much. Just a warning

I love my 2 weed Wacker's from ego , bought the second one for the battery and it's a power load. But they will never keep up with a gas powered one. Great if you don't have a lot of work to do. But I'm still waiting for batteries to cool down and charge.

I have one, the choke switch keeps popping out while engine running and messing with me. Also it has a very awkward surge up and down consistently when idle. I can definitely use this machine but when the time is right I'll replace it with a Honda

@Mr-Chris You should install a hose clamp on the end of your load block valve at the outlet of the Garretson demand regulator. Perhaps you've already done this, my comment is new relative to the age of this video.
