I do admit that you are right about the gold paint. If it had been gold metallic on the wand it would have made it "pop" more and stand out more. But overall the wand has a beautiful design!

i love this new wand! the cauldron wand is beautiful don’t get me wrong but it didn’t seem like it could actually be a wizards/witches wand. the new 2022 wand really looks like you would find it in someone’s hand doing spells at hogwarts!

Personally, I prefer the duller gold. It's proof that you don't have to be flashy to be classy, and it gives it a nice retro look. The antique style gives the wand and its user a look of wisdom and experience. Also, I think the combination of stained wood and dull gold has always looked classy in a subtle way. The cauldron wand looks really cool as well, but I just prefer the other one more. 😃👍

Beautiful wand! I feel I typically go for a more bright vibrant metallic gold but I do feel this flat gold suits this custom brown color… has a slight pink undertone. Anyways thanks for posting this, keep up the great work!

It does look like something Gilderoy Lockhart would use though I think he would go for something more flashy. The dull gold looks alright to me. A more metallic finish might not "age" well especially if handled too much.

For whatever reason, the wand reminds me of Quidditch, I think it's the leather-like pattern on the bottom of the wand that reminds me of a quaffle, and the top spiral reminds me of a broomstick. It's a really nice wand.

This is by far my most favorite wand. The gold color made it look a little bit older, but it isn't a bad thing in my oppinion. The classic and elegant look makes it look realy powerfull. The only downside I find is the tip of the wand. I would wish that it would be a little more pointed, but i don't know if it's possible for interactive wands. But over all it is my favorite wand. And would love to have it in my possession, but I don't have enough money to buy my own so I am entering this givaway and hoping for the best.

What a beautiful wand. I agree with you Peter on the gold that should be metallic. This wand looks like a professor at hogwarts would use. Winning this wand would make this year even more magical. 2022 has been the year for me and the love of Harry Potter- first the reunion episode, Second the tournament of houses, third going to the wizarding world of harry potter for the first time this past June, hopefully I can say fourth winning a wand from the Potter Collector.

I think you're right about them doing multiple collector's wands from now on. They also have a new James Potter wand available in the parks only (maybe if you call the online store directly, too, but the online store doesn't have it listed). I hope they eventually get Jakob's wand from Secrets of Dumbledore and Salazar Slytherin's wand (Rowling made a sketch of it).

I love the collectors wands! They're all so elegant, uniquely detailed and stand on their own aside from the character wands. I honestly can't decide which is my favorite...but if I won this one, it'd for sure take 1st place!! I'm planning my first trip to the Wizarding World at Universal Orlando this October and would absolutely love to have a collectors wand for this year as my first interactive wand as well!!!! I just turned 36 on the 3rd. I had a Harry Potter themed birthday party lol. My wife made me a strawberry cake with strawberry icing so it almost looked like the cake Hagrid brought Harry. I had on Harry Potter glasses and a Gryffindor tie and I whipped out my mystery wands. I ended up getting the Elder wand for my birthday in the Olivander box. My second love is TMNT. My wife and kids keep me young at heart.

For some reason this wand seems to portray high end furniture. The quilted diamond pattern looks like a leather chair back with studs, the gold brackets are like metal drawer handles and the twisted part looks like legs to a fancy side table.

Nice, I think the quilt handle is just that, it's representing a grip cover bracketed onto the shaft, sort of like a sword handle.
