I like the exterior and the interior looks very modern. But I am not so sure about all the center console controls being touch screen. Trying to find the right one while driving would be quite distracting. Is there any tactile feedback?

When I bought my Santa Fe Sport 2017, I was debating between the Tucson or Santa Fe, but went with the Sante Fe because I preferred the size and space. This Tucson feels like it's just about a similar size to my Santa Fe, also, the newer Santa Fe looks like it's about the size of the Sante Fe XL generation, so the Tucson is really in my radar now.

Depends on what you are looking for. Personally, I like the Tucson better because it’s just a better size for me. It’s a more compact SUV comparable to the Tiguan or CRV, whereas the Santa Fe is a larger segment.

@@water2299 Well the Santa Fe has a bigger engine - 2.2l Diesel 202ps (Santa Fe) vs 2l Diesel 186ps (Tucson), but then again the Santa Fe is heavier, so it might feel different. I haven't tested the Tucson on the road yet!

By the way, does the front seat has thigh extension like Santa fe and palisade (maybe on the top trim)? It's important for taller guys.

CiTY_HuNTeR well in that case, I’m sure you’ll feel the Tuscon is much better in terms of room. I have to say, this is my favorite segment so I’ve been looking at a lot of competitor cars, but I was genuinely impressed this time. (I wasn’t with the last one!)

@@maricho5865 😄 haha, Thank you, madam. My wife actually said the same thing. She doesn't want to go any bigger because she felt this category is a good size for her control. Tried to persuade her to get Palisade but failed🙈. She stays away from my F150 because she feels it's too big that she doesn't get a good sense of the distance (like how long or wide the truck is). I don't blame her because I drive my Hyundai sonata hybrid more than the truck now. Much easier to park. 😹 And yes, I'm not impressed with the last generation neither. PS, am I the only one that think the tail light is somewhat like a modified version of the current Kia Sportage? the same type of light bar going through (although KIA doesn't lit up), and real tail lamps go under. And the outer shape even looks similar if you connect the 2 triangles on each side.

You're frank and straightforward, you speak good English and not boring listening your review! Going back to the topic, would you know the full (complete) range of color that they offer? They'd add a color which was not only not found on their official catalog but was also not mentioned in the other presentation and it's get very confusing; and they would always say "AND SO ON. I mean what does "and so on" represent, what colors are included there. Can you just choose whatever paint you like and have them done for your vehicle? Could you futher verify/clarify on that please.

In one of their presentations, the guy mentioned the color deep blue which is certainly not found on their catalog. And the "and so on" phrase, it just kept me wondering how many more options do I get from it. The color will be my final deciding point on whether to go ahead with the purchase or not. I just need to find the color that I want, because the 6 colors on their catalog don't give me much excitement, to say the least.

I can see how some don't feel the angular design...but it's not unlike the Lamborghini Urus in some respects (at a 90% discount, wink wink).
