Funny that this particular model was shown in local specialized webpage but was recently removed. I guess they can't really fullfill/get stock in the hence they took it out By the way, there no way to undo the wire integration? Like make cable hanging out again like traditional bike? Also i riding Allez 49 does that mean i can fit into sl7 in size 49 other than more aggressive position. This size is also rarely come by in this part of the world too, seen more 52 more commonly.
@IPAColosseum3 жыл бұрын
My shop told me Spec releases a few bikes for sale on their site (dealers can't even see this inventory) - you had to be fast though, I ordered one and by the time I checked a few hours later all sizes sold out :)
@yonglingng56403 жыл бұрын
If you're a Size 49 on the Allez, you're a Size 49 on the Tarmac SL7 too. All shift and brake lines now exit from the head tube only, but you're free to run whatever cockpit you like, as long as the stem is a 1 1/8-inch.
@hamtairo3 жыл бұрын
@@IPAColosseum at least you have the option to buy from your local spesh directly bypass local bike shop. Here mostly the webpage bikes are listed as "sold out" and you are forced to visit bike shop to get hold of it. The only time they have in stock is tiagra sl6 at some odd sizes
@hamtairo3 жыл бұрын
@@yonglingng5640 ah that sucks, i always prefer simplicity over the current integration trend. However it make sense to be running axs as mean lesser cable to deal with and i believe mechanical groupset will not work efficiently due to wire being bend here and there in the name of hiding cable into the stem. Yes i see comparing 49 of allez and 49 of tarmac does show more aggressive geometry for sure. D
@yonglingng56403 жыл бұрын
@@hamtairo When you run mechanical on a Tarmac SL7, it doesn't go under the stem, it goes straight to the handlebars and shifting still feels good. The Tarmac SL7's aero integration isn't heavy, so swapping a stem on this bike is as easy as swapping a conventional stem on a conventional road bike. Also, servicing headset bearings is usually done during a full service, which is pretty much the only time the whole bike gets taken apart. I built an S-Works Tarmac SL7 with a mechanical groupset back in September, something none of my colleagues have done before. It's on my IG (@ngyongling53). If you prefer bikes with traditional internal routing (starts from the down tube instead of the head tube), there's the Allez Sprint. No clue on what the 2022 version is going to be like yet, if it evolves.
