dont know whats stronger but my 2015 model its much easyer to take the panels of the tank i can do it in 10 to 15 min now have doen it a few times playing with airbox and filter.when i took my snorkel of i lost power that was with no tuning so put it back you have a tune yes top end was better but lost the down low torq

I just bought a 2022 MT 09 and for me the bike feels too light coming off of a 2017 CBR 1000 RR so I ordered an MT 10. I'm not doing any mods as these bikes are plenty fast for the street. I'm at the point where I don't want a loud bike to alert the cops that I'm coming, been there done that.

If u want u can just remove the pegs and put the reservoir in the hole the pegs were using just remove the rubber spacer

Good call on the radiator guard. But take a gander at the oil filter. It’s a fantastic target for a rock kicked up by the front tire. I just pushed a small hot tomato sauce can over mine. It’s obviously not bullet proof but it gives me some peace of mind.

Eh I wouldn't worry about that. Rocks hitting the oil filter won't do much.

Back in the eighties I rode my new hurricane Honda 600 out to the desert and the oil filter got punctured by a small stone kicked up from the front tire. That’s when I came up with the tin can shield. Maybe I’m just unlucky.

Always wear ear plugs, wind noise is an ear killer. With the baffle removed it doesn't see all that much louder, at least with ear plugs in. Without ear plugs it is loud af. lol

K&N = fail. DNA with airbox lid = only power gains for the MT-07. Or you can remove the airbox and install a filter pod.

Finally the aftermarket exhaust has completed it's turn to the dark side of hooligan sounding exhaust. The baffle on my MT07 and MT09 SP didn't last a day. Always wondered why fit a baffle in the exhaust when the manufacturer of the exhaust knows its gonna get yanked out 1st thing.

90° V-twin (example Ducati) is a 270° firing interval. Parallel twin engine with 90° separation between crank pins, is a 270° firing interval. This is why the frequency of the sounds emitted from both engine times are identical.

@@CycleCruza Thankfully there's a ton of bikes out these days with parallel twin 270° crank. Some examples: 180° (Kawasaki Ninja 400) 270° (MT-07) 285° (890 Duke R) 315° (Nuda 900R) 360° (F800GS) I think the best parallel twin designs are 270 and 285 degree crankpin relationship.

@@dr.jiIIaIicecooper2587 False. Old Wives Tales. Motorcycles are not cars. They do not compensate more than 10% at the very most. Factory tuned ECU's are already lean for emissions. Add more airflow, they get WORSE. Watch some videos on Moore Mafia channel, or Brock's Performance channel.
