My wife got one loves it. What surprised me was that it states 17miles electric but one day got 42 suburban city driving never using gas. The battery was recharging every time a rolled to a stop, coasted etc. Comes w x drive to help in snow. Hardest was trying put in pin for keyless access

Hymm? never had to enter a pin!? ... And i agree its strange driving slow in traffic seems to yield more miles!

Living in South Africa we have blackouts 6 hours per day I want a fast charger and must be able to run my home to.

i'd get like 20 solar panels and some large batteries and an inverter if i were you!
