To make the crispy chicken:
1. Take 3-4 chicken breasts and place them in a 1 gallon zip lock bag. On a flat surface, use a mallet to tenderize them.
2. Take two bowls, in one bowl add 1 cup of panko and season (your choice!) and in the other bowl add two eggs and whisk them.
3. Add one chicken breast at a time; coat it in the eggs, then coat them in the seasoned panko and then cook in a pan with 2 cups of vegetable oil (or deep enough to cover the chicken). Cook on medium heat (low and slow). Once the chicken is golden brown, flip.
4. Remove and drain on a cookie sheet or on a napkin. Enjoy!

Can't understand why you keep letting your chickens in your garden you spend all that money and all your hard work and then they destroy it😢

Yes, she should definitely do a better job of not letting them out while she’s AT WORK. I myself have been working on being everywhere at every moment. So far it’s not working out for me either.

Just a thought, could you put a lock on the gate when you are at work, so the kiddos don't let the chikkies into your garden to munch on it

If you take your egg shells and grind them up into a fine powder it's really good for your plants, and if you throw the shells in the chicken coop they are super healthy for the chickens as well! Banana water is amazing for your plants too! Just take the peels and soak them in water over night. Another great thing for our plants is coffee grounds

I would put the potted herbs in the shade for half the day for a little bit, move them around often, they look a little sunburnt. If your backyard gets a lot of sun which looks like it does that may help

Hi sweet friend, could the heat from the brick house be adding additional heat to the soil & drying the roots out ? Cut the bottom off of plastic bottles & push them deeply into the soil add extra water into those bottles to guarantee that the roots are getting water. Just a suggestion. Good luck 😊👍🏻👍🏻

Lauren it’s ok if the chicken get out, I know it sucks because you put in work but life is life. Kids are kids, things happen and don’t beat yourself over it. Some people get their vegetables eaten by worms, bugs, and other creatures. I found holes in my tomatoes today and I was like well can’t do anything about it because we have more. It’s ok, life happens, part of the fun is having a garden and you’ll get some good crops I’m sure

One little tip I’ve learned from other KZbin videos is you should clip off some of the tomatoes branches from the bottom that way it strengthens the main stem and helps produce more tomatoes.

The size of the tomato plant depends on if it is a determinate which grows to a certain size or indeterminate which just keeps growing
@kimwood6632
@kimwood6632 3 ай бұрын
Exactly! Those are Roma's which are determinate, so they may be as "tall" as they're going to get. The cherry tomatoes and heirlooms are indetermate and will keep growing if you pick the fruit. To help the indeterminate one's out, trim the branches that come out of the armpit off the main stock for better airflow and the plant will put more energy into the fruit not the foliage that doesn't have fruit or flowers on them.

Egg yolk how to use if you are wanting another method to use your eggs… To stimulate a higher percentage of hair follicles in the scalp and make your hair grow thicker, healthier, and fuller can happen with egg yolk. Egg contains lecithin and protein, which helps in strengthening, nourishing and healing your strands. Due to its high sulfur content, it can also help in removing dandruff. To make the mask, take two eggs and pour them into a bowl. Add two tablespoons of olive oil. To make it less sticky, add half a cup of water and mix well. Apply the mask on your scalp and fully on your hair. Leave it for 30 minutes. Wash with a natural shampoo.

You may have planted a bush bean variety for the green beans instead of a pole bean variety which may be why they aren’t trailing up the trellis 😊

Thin some of the stems out of your tomato plants. Gives them more sunlight and air flow. Just the branches with no flower/fruit.

Hi Lauren, Nice video, very interesting, you work very hard in your home and garden, you have a beautiful home and garden and I like your white convertible car. I'm 44 years myself and am looking after my body much better these days, watching what I eat and making better healthy food choices, getting more physical exercise with long walks and lifting weights in my health club and getting better sleep, going to bed same time and getting up same time. Your an amazing chef and you cook amazing lovely delicious food. I love your art you have in your home, I love art and have quite a few wall art in my own modern apartment, no garden, I would love a garden. Always look forward to your videos Lauren, your a big inspiration and a nice person. Have a great week Lauren and all the best to you and your man and kids. Bye. ☺

You could grow peppers in a container garden and keep that container away from your sweet chickens! You might also try tying your bean vines with some cotton twine to weave and train them up the trellises. I love that you're gardening like your mom did even if you don't feel as accomplished at it as she was yet! ❤❤❤

Hi , your garden looks great. I did see you removed some , it happens mine were growing fine until the heat wave. I watered well but even the zucchini didn’t make it. Next Saturday is supposed to be 117 degrees here in The Central Valley yikes. Salad looked fabulous! Love to Enzo and the chickens 🐓 thanks for sharing.

What kind of tomatoes did you plant? My Roma’s stay small and bushy while the Champions are big. I also sucker these so they don’t go crazy growing limbs that take away from my flowering and growing tomatoe limbs. At the joints where you see growth pinch it off. Makes a big difference. Your garden is really producing. I haven’t gotten any squash or cucumbers yet.

I have a green house out in the back this year. 4 different types of watermelons, cantaloupe, strawberries, zucchini, yellow squash, 3 types of tomatoes, lemon cucumber, multiple bell peppers, jalapenos, habanero, Italian sweet peppers, broccoli, and some herbs. Something got into there and ate some of the plants and completely ate our broccoli 😭 It always sucks when you watch your garden grow and put so much work into it only to see it get eaten. Lol

Are the tomato plants getting enough sun? I planted a tomato plant a couple years ago, and that was an issue for me. Think they may need at least 6 hours a day of full sun. My plant was getting about 5, that just wasn’t enough. They flowered, but produced only a few, very small tomatoes. Also, maybe they need to be in the ground as opposed to that style raised bed. All in all, your garden is doing fantastic. I just love it. We moved to a development with an HOA so I can’t really have a garden. We do have a nice size patio, so I have lots of flowers and herbs in pots. You are the sweetest person, I admire you greatly.

Hi Lauren, your garden looks amazing. Your string bean crop is taking off. We hope to have a small garden eventually and I would so love to have carrots and onions. I am obsessed with the idea of having them peek out of the ground and being surprised with their growth. I know that is weird We are getting so hot here in Atlanta sounds like you are experiencing that too! So glad you are getting excited about decorating for Fall and Halloween. I would imagine you are getting your groove in the new house!!!

Hey, don't be afraid to trim those tomatoes! I got some really great advice about growing them and here it is: A tomato plant is like a child, if you let it grow wild it's going to go all over the place. You are trying to grow tomatoes, not leaves! Another thing that is helpful is to keep the leaves off the ground! Lots of soil borne issues can happen to the leaves when they get wet soil on them.
