Great vid! Thanks for putting it out there. Here are some of my takeaways, let me know if you agree: 1) the Perelli’s are OK for the streets, but some Michelins would be good right now. 2) staggered set up is good for range, but for cornering looks like it would do better with 275 square instead of the 235s. 3) The new rear 4DU motor is Thirsty! You went from 83%+ to 30’s% in those laps. Thus, some shorter track days for some especially with regen low or off.

@@ayushmalpeddi2793 True that, but it will be interesting to compare the burn rate of older M3Ps vs 2024 M3P, especially at the track. The fact you cannot track for more than 30 mins with the new one is a bummer.

@@natew2031 depends on the track and how fast you are going. I'd expect the new one to use more energy because it produces a lot more power. But I'd estimate they track time for both are pretty damn comparable. If you want more track time you'd just have to accelerate more gently.

Very predictable through the corner and coming out is very planted. Not a huge fan of the regen mixed with the regular brakes but I will try different settings next time. The lower center of gravity and very quiet so you can hear the tires working, makes it super easy to drive. Track days would be perfect for this car just make sure you have a 250 kw Supercharger close by between sessions. Most people are probably not going to drive it this hard.

If you're coming from a manual trans car before, the regen braking should feel similar to engine braking and you can use it to balance the car for cornering.
@tannerbaer7 ай бұрын
If only the Regen was a lot stronger. You come off throttle anything over 110 and it keeps the same speed for a long time even with some brakes. Entering fast corners you go full throttle to brakes for a faster entry. Coasting would just make it a slower corner but might be easier on the temps...
@mmark3006 ай бұрын
@@tannerbaerI think a big issue is when the batteries change temps, the regen will change so it's no longer consistent. I would think regen on minimum would keep things more consistent.

I saw your 2024 M3P did only 35mph at one of those turns in the very beginning of your video. Maybe your speedometer was showing incorrect speed? I have verified my MYP speedometer speed readouts to be the same as my standalone GPS device speed readouts under constant speed lasting at least five (5) seconds to eliminate any errors caused by GPS refresh.
