I really want retro sportbike styling like this to become more of a thing - bikes like the 80s and 90s Fireblades, GPZs, etc. are incredibly cool looking, especially with all the bright, over-the-top colours and graphics. The Katana at least does this well too, I love the look of those in silver.

Gorgeous. Manufacturers should take note. There’s a lot of older folks out there looking to exchange money for happiness like me 😊 I’m seriously considering walking away from idea of getting a stupidly expensive Diavel V4 for this, to look at its that good, and nothing wrong with an MT09 💪

I'm not terribly old, at 55, but have been battered by deer and cars, both taking me out on multiple occasions. I've had 2 more broken bones than my current age. So riding the XSR900GP may not be a reality with those low bars but I'd still get one just to have in the garage to admire. It's a stunner. This appears to be the golden age of retro bikes. Your other video on modern retro bikes was mind blowing. I currently have the original retro bike: 2000 Kawasaki W650. It is quite simply the worlds greatest motorcycle.

I used to have an R1with those low slung handle bars. It was the seat that had me crying out loud after an hour. It was only fun on twisty back country roads. 4:45

Very nice looking bike 🤩... will be interesting, how it will be priced. The regular XSR 900 is near 12.000€ in Germany, so we have to expect it to be in the range of 13-14K. It's a unique bike at the moment 👍

Lovely looking bike is that XSR 900 GP. Shame they don't do the other colour option in Gauloises [Sarron] blue instead of boring black/grey. Kawasaki have also missed a trick with the rumoured [but no showing] of the retro GPZ900 R using the existing Z900 as it's base.
