This is ugly, not the ugliest car ever but ugly It is heavy, I saw some people using the argument that GT63SE is also heavy but remember that the GT63S weighs 2047kg and the hybrid version 2339kg but is faster than the normal one... while the M5 Competition (F90) weighs 1989kg and this hybrid and only new model weighs 2445kg and is way slower This is definetely the worst M5 ever made

Hopefully minus 1100 pounds. I have a '20 competition and I noticed the prices actually went up instead of down when this became available. According to Car gurus, I can theoretically sell mine for as much as I bought it for, two years and 30k miles ago.

The Phat M5. Going to wait a while for next revision or face-lift. Looks OK only concerned about weight. Will just keep upgrading E60 since I'm not driving much anymore.

Me too, I have a '22 M5 Comp. However, I do not see how BMW can make it any lighter since, most of the weight is coming from the batteries and electric motors.

This iteration M5 looks better than the plain previous model. I'd still have to go with the 5V Blackwing because of the manual transmission though.

People keep talking about "weight" as if they're going to track this car all the time. This is a fast and luxurious family car that will spend most of its time going in a straight line. Even if you were to track it, it would do well as BMW said the G90 is fast around the track than the F90.

Honestly the best thing to do with this car is buy it and ship it over to NOVITEC right away to see what miracle they can do to resurrect this funeral of the M5 mess BMW has done. If anyone can resurrect this car it’s NOVITEC. They should’ve left the regular 4.4 liter v8 producing 617 hp and 553 lb ft torque Then add the electric part and then that would be a BEAST M5. The 0-60 would’ve been alot quicker regardless of the extra weight. That’s the best way to hide the negative issues people have by using SMOKE & MIRRORS 😂

Cheap materials interior... lots of hard and cheap plastic finish.. i really hate this downgrading stuff from BMW. The previous generation, g30/g31, is way better. Nicer finish en better materials... *sigh*

Because of some mechanical reasons (assuming drivetrain losses etc) you can’t just add the raw power of the ICE engine and the electric engine.

Stop lying, no it wasn't about just weight. Meaning no, we didn't like how it looks. Previous model was nicer, when you make a car which is priveious model looks nice this happens. Weight wouldn't matter if it was faster than previous model but it isn't. Also noise, it just doesn't exist anymore. What else do you need to hate what they did to a car?
