I went to PSE because of Dudley and their new (then) E2C cams. I bought the EVO EVL 34” and the next year I also bought the Mach 34. I was having shoulder issues that was threatening my ability to keep shooting. Those issues were alleviated by moving from Hoyt to PSE with the so-called “easy” cams. As an older guy shooting just under 65 lbs, I’ll be staying where I’m at. Sorry Dud. I wish you all the best in your archery endeavours.

The Mach 30 is definitely the best carbon bow currently being made regardless of company

If you want to experience smooth, try the Darton Sequel.

Can hoyt put some more info out on the long draw versions?? I'm a 31.5'' draw and want to know if there's just a different mod or what's up with it.

I wonder how much difference there is between Rx-9 and rx-5? I love my rx-5 but I do have some issues tuning a fixed blade broadhead. I didn’t have any problems with my spider tuning broadheads. I’m not sure why they are off at 40plus yards.

What part is the vtm series, aluminum bow coming out?

What???

It’s 2024 my dude.
@Terpedup925Ай бұрын
The alpha x is the new vtm for 2024. For 2025 the aluminum bow is alpha AX2

IMO, they should keep the cheaper strings on them and drop the price 100 bucks. My serving started separating at the knock point (70# alpha X 30) within the first hundred shots and dealer told me it's not a warranty item.
@RWTupperАй бұрын
With that one exception, it's a really nice bow.

I also had serving separation as well. You are not alone there are dozens of posts on the archery talk forum with the same issue.

I recently brought a 50-60 lbs compount bow, 28.5"- 29" draw length (if i wear cltoths for winter). (i have shorter cams, because i miss 1"- 2" in draw lengh), (60 lbs thats fine from another brand than mine...) and at the end i barrely can manage to shoot 240 arrows per week at 50 lbs because my bow (not ask the brand dragon 10) is very agressive IBO 340 and feel more painfull than another one at 50-60lbs after 60 arrows. I understand nth, a shorter cam on the same bow is the culprit of this "payne" ? or maybe should i consider to go to 40-50 lbs, or do i need to pay more attention on the size of the cam ? theses new HOYT are really tempting.

This is a hard question to answer, Salinda is nowhere near the quality of Hoyt. The draw cycle at 50-60 lbs might feel way better. If you have a local shop near you it’s probably best to try last year’s model to get a reference. I show a Bowtech at 27.5 inch draw and a 478 grain arrow at 250 fps. The quality of Hoyt, Mathews, or Bowtech are hard to beat.
@ralph2142-Ай бұрын
@@Angel.Custodio Yes sure, the other bow i tested was a bowtech SS and the draw cycle was day and night, but sadly it was my first bow purchase, so i made the choice of low budget but good shooter bow for 30-50 yards 360 grain targets arrows, but at the end the draw cycle and the weight of the bow is a payne to be a daily training bow, but, consistant after 1500 arrows, shoot very well for is price :/ , thx for your answer. Next bow will be something better. ( Total weight is near 7 lbs, the payne in my left arm after 60 arrows is maybe also in the relation with that and my left arm condition).

Late to the party but if anyone from Hoyt cares, please drill us a 2nd Berger hole!

If they had the Hamskea integration I think Hoyt would have hit a grand slam. It’s still going to be hard for me not to order the 9 ultra

When it comes to bows and arrows they really remind me of first blood part two, first blood part 3, rambo 4 and last blood on top of that it reminds me of that stupid Disney movie Brave and the Marvel movie The avengers and the hawkeye series and the DC series arrow

Cam loads up in the back now not in the front. Mite as well buy a mathews bow now they have way more going on with their bows. Hard for me to say because I love the draw on my RX7. Guess I will wait until they fix it.

Seems like a lot of folks are hurt because they bought PSEs because of John. Experience them yourself and make a choice on what’s best for you. Also don’t understand why it’s anyone’s business but his on who he works for. It’s not like every other person hasn’t changed jobs for more money or lack of agreement on future direction of the company.
