I have a 2016 ZX-10R KRT ABS, bought it new, and I will never sell it. Let me tell you guys, these bikes are incredible! I started with a filter/flash, and that really woke things up. After a few years I went to an Exhaust, Re-Flash, Bunch of Bolt on Parts, and Finally a K-Tech rear Shock and K-Tech Rebuilt front forks. My bike Dynoed 198rwhp at 14 200rpm. Its SO smooth and friendly under 7000 rpm, above that is explosive and just a wild ride. The BFF front fork, is IMOH the ultimate front end, and the Brembo M50's with matching Master and Discs are unreal. These new models are even better, and the aftermarket support is insane! a New ZX10R where I life is $22K Canadian, a new Panigali V4 is $33K. So if you get the ZX10R, you have 11K for mods, tires, leathers and trackdays!

nice video, only thing i don't agree with is adding aftermarket quickshifter doesn't cost thousands of dollars to buy and have installed professionally... If it does, your getting ripped all the way off. Second aftermarket quickshifters are usually "better" because you can tweak your settings without being on a dyno. Flashing and or dynoing your stock QS is always the best way to go.

Don't care about an auto blipper. Us old school racers enjoy playing the clutch. Don't need a bike becoming closer to an automatic Take away most of the electronics and make prices and the experience GREAT AGAIN!
@johnnyappleseedz4224 ай бұрын
Old school clutching loses time and acceleration when compared to a quickshifter. 100%. And when most bikes get tuned, the quickshifter (ms) is as fast as 45-50 milliseconds. The hand can never replicate that speed in shifting. And with each shift, even if you are losing just 250 milliseconds for every shift, by the time you shift to 5th gear, you've already lost a full second. This accumulates exponentionally if/when racing around a track and every time you hand shift. If you don't believe it, take a.look at any motorcycle Dragy slip on Google. You will see the acceleration graph (orange) drop down when the shift is slow, and the speed line (blue) will show a lull or flat spot in the speed. A blue line with minimal to no visible seen kink in the line is a sick fast shift, also noted by how small the drop in the orangle (acceleration) line is.

In my opinion these bikes have way too much electronics on them now. I think it can create a bad rider who becomes used to all these features in which the bike basocally rides itself. Like they have cornering mode, wheelie mode, engine braking LOL. Then you put that rider on an older liter bike without all these features and next thing you know he gets out of control and there is no electronics to save him and splat.
@emadreviews4 ай бұрын
@@jasonb9629 I agree that too much electronics can hinder one’s ability to learn how to be a good rider, but keep in mind a ZX10R is not a trainer motorcycle. The rider should be a VERY competent motorcyclist already by the time they own one of these. The tech is simply an added safety which all can be disabled with push of a button if you wish to do so. S1000RR/M 1000 RR shiftcam engines are notorious for breaking ... catastrophically. I've made a good 2nd job fixing all the S1000RR variants since 2010. I have developed performance parts for the pre-shoftcam engines. 223-224 whp @ 999.7cc is typical for a full engine build with a good pipe and tune.

I cant believe the level of compliants on this bike. Kawasaki literally makes the best liter and middle weight super sports. With features, quality and price combined no one is touching them.

As a true fan of Kawasaki and owner of ZX6R I unfortunatelly need to admit that BMW S1000RR is much better bike.
