The MG Cyberster is now available in Slovakia, and they have a colour option that we don’t have in the UK; a green colour. In many mainland European countries, you can also get the new MG3 in yellow, new MG HS in blue, new MG ZS in green and MG4 in silver.

Loved this review. I had the chance to sit in the MG Cyberster at Everything Electric North, and I was quite impressed with its design. However, after watching this review, I can’t help but notice a few potential drawbacks. The interior screens look like they could be frustrating to use on a daily basis, and the ride seemed noticeably bouncy at higher speeds. And those rear indicators … HATE!!

The screens are unnecessary but usable, more usable than the side Mirror screens on an Audi e-tron for example. The damping definitely could use help, it may be as simple as replacing the shocks

Doors. You drive into your garage and open the doors. How easy is it to get in or out when they are half open? Arrow lights? Tacky.

It's no looker .. the rear indicators are Noddy in Toy Town daft. Scissor doors are for Lamborghini's and maybe McLaren SLR otherwise they are not for the mediocrity. It looks average for a Chinese made car costing £55k but until I see one in the flesh I can't comment further though it looks cheap in that trim spec.

Every single time I stopped someone would come to talk to me about the car, usually multiple people, I had people asking if it was a Porsche, a Jag and a McLaren. It's very hard to argue that it looks "average"

@BuckleUpShow not remotely hard to argue. If you know your cars it's simple, if you don't (like most) it could be mistaken for many bland metal that pounds the streets of the UK. If anyone thinks a Porsche or McLaren would stick arrows for indicators on their cars should prove they know little about cars. As for Jag, well .. given their recent adverts, anything is possible I suppose but it's hardly an endorsement calling it a Jag these days. Perhaps in the days of the E Type.

The point is, most people don’t know their cars, and our lived experience suggests people really like how it looks and think it’s way more expensive than it actually is. This cannot be construed as a bad thing, no matter how much you personally don’t like it.

@@BuckleUpShow I haven't seen the one you review however, I have seen a few of the current (outgoing) model and it's not a looker. MG's to date have not sold on looks but have sold on price, that's not necessarily a bad thing but they are not good looking cars. If people don't know their cars then perhaps some research is required to get them up to speed before parting with £50+k for a car that will drop in value very quickly and in a very short period of time.

Yeah no one will ever be interested in a performance car with a high seating position, that's why GR Yaris's are so cheap on the second hand market

I have a lot of joy in my life thank you 😀, you posted a video on a car and opened it up to comment, so i commented, from certain angles it looks ok, i like the front, the bonnet and lights look clean, but then it goes down hill, honestly gull wing doors, ridiculous and serve no other purpose but to impress 10 year old boys.

It looks quite pleasant in that modern generic forgettable chinese way. Its nice to get one of SAICs decent cars in the UK. Like the IM LS6 and that.
