Thanks, Paul, for sharing this event with the live ISS communication. Although it wasn't perfect the children sure have positive memories of the event. Who knows how much this will affect their interests in radio and space exploration.

Seems was an issue on the ground station's Tx side, as ISS could not Rx loud? Good project though, 73

you can hear the ISS perfectly with a handheld HB9CV antenna and a 40 years old handy. They had a 10 el yagi and the weakest reception i've ever seen of the 2 meter band and FM mode...

Shame on the operator giving 59 reports when it was obviously just static and no audio being received early on in the pass from ISS. Also what is the point repeatedly calling the ISS when it was obviously not even in range. It appears to me your tracking software had the wrong KEPs . Sorry for the negative comments 😢😢. It's just really annoying watching something that could have been really really good for our hobby being ruined.😢😢😢😢😢😢. This is from a Radio Ham who has had 100,s of contacts with both MIR on Audio and Packet Radio back in the 1980,s and the ISS. Using only very primitive equipment an old Commodore VIC20 and an old Crystal controlled Transceiver with around 3 Watts output into a homemade Antenna. So sorry you didn't have a better contact especially for all the youngster's waiting 😢😢😢
