Hello from the UK. It was interesting to see the conclusion of the shoefly and also to see that new highway etc. that now runs under the railway. This is a massive investment so they must be really sure about the future of the line. It also looks like it is futureproofed by leaving space for at least one additional line. Also I see that we even got a top and tail train as well.

What a cool update on the former "Shoo-Fly" in Richwood, Ky. It was cool to see the progress that has been made from start to finish! The last video you shot over there, the dirt was still under the new railroad bridge, and now the road is finished and now open for traffic. At least they closed down that crossing where the dump truck snagged the crossing gate, causing a slow order. A whole of progress has been made in Richwood, and all for the better. Now the Shoo-Fly is now just a memory. Nice update!

Thank you for taking us back to Richwood, Kentucky to see the progress that has taken place since our last visit. It is nice to know that the Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) bridge has been completed and is open to traffic. Also, the roadway under the Dixie Highway bridge and the Norfolk Southern (C.N.O.&TP) Rat Hole is in use and the crossing of the Norfolk Southern tracks where we saw a truck bend the gate over the train tracks and where a gate got hung up on a tractor-trailer rig has been closed. That was a nice catch of the Norfolk Southern's Central of Georgia Heritage Unit in the lead on the first train. The Norfolk Southern train number on the southbound steel coil train is #375. It runs from Middletown, Ohio to Rockport, Indiana. The northbound empty steel coil train is #376. The trains at Walton, Kentucky and on your way home ware added bonuses.

What was interesting about the train with the heritage locomotive was it went on the Dayton district and onto the New Castle district heading north to Hamilton. That’s so rare to see a train just go from the Dayton district to the new castle district since they normally do directional running. How I found out was someone took a picture of it on a Facebook group it showed that train heading off the new castle line

90% of the construction equipment is gone and once that grade crossing is removed you'd never know the old layout unless you drove it or saw it transform itself in a JT video. Excellent catch with the Central of Georgia unit and the older power on the CSX train. Many worthy Freight cars the two best being the RTAX flatcar with the aluminum ingots which belongs to Rio Tinto Alcan which started its journey way up in Quebec (on the short NS DPU train) and the very last car on the last train the TTXX flat. That reporting mark it turns out is for positioning moves for equipment that is to be repurposed. Judging by the graffiti on the sides it is a dismantled autorack and maybe headed to become a different autorack or perhaps a flatcar like FTTX to carry truck frames. Never a dull day on a JT trackside tour and today would have been a perfect day for a cool drink with product placement

Nice catch’s Especially with the Heritage unit and the UP Engine in between, and I’ve Never seen an abandoned crossing where The line is still in use bc I have 2 abandoned rail lines and with crossing’s abandoned too and the lines are out of service, 1 The Sera Northern Woodland Branch that runs along Main Street/ old river road is not used due to part of the track having to be removed for the Sac river and most costumers were switching to trucking and same thing for the Sac Bee on the 20th street industry line they just did not want rail service anymore and same for a industry that came off the Roseville sub across the American river in Sacramento the rails are abandoned and yeah so very great video!
